They said in the stream she will lose WJPs before she releases. 20-22 are probable i wager. Ah okay, that makes sense. Using 29 as the baseline, counting two 'unit members', 22-24 seems reasonable and 20 is a bit pricey. Morghoul, Makeda, Zerkova are 24-25 points. For some reason silly man Caine3 is one of the lowest wj point casters in the game.

Eighteen WJ points for what is essentially “kill this attached model and her kit falls apart even further”... Grumble!

Annie is really seeming like the strongest revive if you can get ash into intelligence range. Will note that ash's feat doesn't seem to require the revived models die to an enemy attack, so there's always the option to execute your own solos a turn in advance. Anyway, assassination combo: Start Ash within 19" of caster (unless you can proc vengeance). Charge. Place Annie, Gorman, and Boss. Intelligence the enemy caster. Gorman and boss walk forward first. With the extra advance, Boss may be able to get behind things to slam them forward, gorman gets an autohitting blind on the enemy caster, ash gets to back away up to 17" from that caster (8" annie range, free advance and 3" repo), and any other models you've got within 8" of annie get to advance as well and finish off the KD'd, blinded caster. Been gone a while, but just checking back in. Doesn't it say that the revived models have to forfeit the move or attack action? Could have been an update since this was posted, but that was what I was reading.

If Ash can get within 8" of the enemy caster, she can place Anastasia within 3" which is in range to use espionage (5") on the enemy caster without moving. Espionage grants all models within 8" of Annie a free out of activation move (this does include annie herself). For your other two revives it's a free out of activation advance, then sacrificing their move actions per the requirement of the feat to be able to attack during their activation. (i did accidentally call it intelligence in the earlier post which is a different annie ability)

I feel like that's an interaction that PP probably didn't predict (personally I completely forgot that ability was on her card). I wonder if it will end up getting nerfed?

They may prevent you bringing back something that died on the same turn as it is reminiscent of the Testament playstyle that got nerfed. The combination of Anastasia, Gorman and whatever else whenever you want may be a bit powerful, especially given her threat potential, but at least there's a chance it won't get nerfed if it doesn't dominate tournies. It is hard to forget that she had that ability though. It's basically what defines her, even though she never gets to use it. Her MKI version was crazy fun. I guess that's what you get when you don't CiD casters.

I'm guessing dying breath is either a better tough or last word. Lots of angry ladies with revenge mechanics lately.

I'm thinking this probably won't get changed because it requires a lot of conditions to fall into place. Eligible charge target within range+lost+at the exact angle for it to be a straight line to the warcaster/those three models dead at least one turn before/good rolls.

Yes it does, so you'd lose 3" if you can't charge (2" of which is possible to get back via an ironhead). Needing a charge target that gets you within 8" of the enemy caster ain't exactly the hardest thing in the world. All you really need for this to be threatening is to have annie dead though; you can just kill her yourself on turn 1 if you want.

A second ironhead can add another 2" by placing anastasia as well after she gets feated back. Now that we're done with the actually good idea... Heading way deep into the jank tank here, but Boss Machorne (and/or Bosun) could in theory smite ashlynn forward so she lands on a freebooter before sac'ing action, moving and feating. Requires surviving a boosted pow17 which is unlikely to even hit (mat7 vs a def15 back arc) and need to actually land on the jack with lash so is way out in rube goldberg land, but from Gorten bowling experience your opponent's reaction to your possible threat range is the valuable part, not trying to use it. If Ash ever gets an easier way to avoid knockdown it might actually become usable in a game?
