Hi, I used to play WM and post a bunch on here ~2 years ago but fell away from the game. I took some Cygnar models outta the box and got hit with nostalgia and am now thinking I might seek out a meta and start playing again. I see some familiar usernames in recent threads and that makes me happy. Anyway, I'm reading through the errata and new Cygnar cards but I'd love to hear from you fellas some of the highlights in WMH from the last 2 years.

Just returning myself, but we just got a bunch of morrowan models and a corresponding theme that uses merc jacks and up to 2 Cygnaran/Khadoran ones.
Also the themes got redone not long ago to just give a flat number of freebies at a given point level (1 per 25 points).

The biggest changes with the Oblivion release are in the way themes work. Seek out some updated rules and take a look at Requisition options. Long story short: free stuff is based on point size of the game, with free things occurring at 25, 50, and 75 points, instead of being tied to “Bring X points of Y” requirements.
Some themes got streamlined, tightened up, or bundled together, but I think nothing massively changed in Cygnar’s themes.
The new Morrowan stuff is good and you end up with some nice Partisan models in the releases too.
Also check out the minis from Privateer’s new game Riot Quest. All of the models in that game are also legal solos in Warmachine/Hordes!

At least the theme force benefits are more smooth and clean now. Before then it was a mess.
