Question: Why do people see GW on Scouts as good? I understand that a lot of stuff nowadays have Tough/no knockdown but scouts are 6 dudes Arm13/def13 with spd6 rng6 assualt so mostly i can see them is assualting in killing 1 each at 15" range then be a road block. While GW do help with that, I find it hard to be amazing? I know its because I miss something here - and thats what I am asking for - what am I missing Use scouts to kill tharn, watch circle players cry when they see their tharn can't heal. Laugh.

Dozer gains 4 Rat by losing inaccurate, right? I think he should be more than good with that. The animus is super good on Bombers, if they can avoid sniping. Nope, base RAT 6! So can be 8 if the animus is kept the same and 10 if aiming/mark target etc.

If only we had a theme that gave all our solos Mark Target. As long as the scouts can hit the tharn they've done their job. If they can charge the tharn they've got two chances to apply grievous and they have gang, so they've got MAT 8 P+S 13 on the charge. It's not perfect, but it's not as bad for the scouts as you think, IMO.

Yeah, with Mark Target, its 6s to hit with assault, unless the Ravagers have some def buff on them, at dice - 4 unbuffed damage. So, it's not awful. Not great, but they might kill 1 or 2 at a range.

I know its because I miss something here - and thats what I am asking for - what am I missing I'm not super impressed by it either, but I guess the thing to keep in mind is that often it's really nice to just tag something with Grievous Wounds. Scouts getting an Assault throw on Imperatus or into any Grymkin beast brick, for example, can be huge.

No change to any caster for this update. No change to Dozers RAT - although I guess the animus could change, if not boostable RAT 8 is quite nice. This isn't ALL the changes, just a couple spoilers they dropped early.

Yep absolutely there will be more changes. It has been explicitly said that there are no changes to casters or to Dozers RAT, and that other beasts will be changed. Everything else is up for grabs!

I really wish that PP would not support Facebook groups so heavily. I refuse to use that company's services given their track record of handling user data, so I can't really look at any of these statements directly and that kind of sucks.

If it helps, everything in this thread is pretty much listed verbatim. No caster updates, Dozer changes, Scout change, and a weapon Crew RNG boost.

Alas, cabers aren't ranged weapons. Like they should be. D&S is now usable, for cost. High Explosive and improved RAT are both great. Glad to see this great model will see more table time. Hoping for cost change to Blitzer and ranged light warbeasts (Impaler!!). Scouts should have Prey instead of Gang. 40mm size with 0.5" melee is really bad for Gang-ing, especially without Tactician and in a unit limited to 6 models. Or give 1" melee. GW on this TB unit is unique and situationally useful (vs Rapid Healing, Tough, Dhunian Archon = Irony) Would also like Scouts to be allowed in one other Theme. I don't believe that would break anything. Looking forward to the release of additional changes!

I am 100% looking forward to getting a change to Trolls - hopefully (but not likely) they will get a place in the game where trolls can sit comfy and be "that kind of army". I wrote on facebook that these additions and changes to Kriel Company made me think TB identity should/would be something like that faction that dictate where the alpha should hit them and strike back ten folded. Reason I am saying that is - we got PygTanks, Boomy2, Artillery with longer range, Dozer now can hit, Solo with marked target etc. My perspective of Warmachine these last 12-15 months (since basically Devourers were in CID) that every game is about getting the alpha and get scenario presences from the get go. Trolls just don't play that game with spd5 (well Jarl does and Grissels to some extend). To me it seem like trolls are getting a way that says : walk up - shoot stuff - receive the alpha - strike back in melee. Scouts as an example will be good to dictate the alpha since they are threating 28"(30" going second) up the board turn 1. Yes they are road bumps but that's exactly the scenario presence I think TB need. Have I been on the "negative side" of everything since DevHost and Immortals - no doubt - but this direction if its has any bits of reality in the dynamic update then I am going to be somewhat happy
