There's a guide from about a year ago that suggests running Barnie the green zombiesaur in WWFF with triple Valkyries, some bone grinders, WE&SJ and croc pots. I don't quite get how the list is supposed to work beyond boosting def to stupid levels (can Barnie, valks and SJ get in that much work?), but with dhunians being a req option now I wonder how the list could look. It definitely seems like it has more game into ranged with the DA.
How would you run this list? Shove a hermit and double voids in there somehow?

[Barnabas 2] Barnabas, Lord of Blood [+23] - Blackhide Wrastler [16] - Boneswarm [7] - Bull Snapper [5] - Gatorman Soul Slave [0(5)]
Dahlia Hallyr [17] Orin Midwinter, Rogue Inquisitor [0(5)] Wrong Eye [17]
Boil Master & Spirit Cauldron [5] Farrow Bone Grinders (min) [5] Farrow Valkyries [8] Farrow Valkyries [8] Farrow Valkyries [8] Swamp Gobbers Bellows Crew [2]
Here's what the list looked like. It's so old it even predates the new requisition points system.
[Barnabas 2] Barnabas, Lord of Blood [+23] - Blackhide Wrastler [16] - Boneswarm [7] - Bull Snapper [5] - Gatorman Soul Slave [0(5)]
Void Archon [8] Void Archon [8] Dhunian Archon [0(6)] Hermit of Henge Hold [0(5)] Wrong Eye [17]
Boil Master & Spirit Cauldron [5] Farrow Bone Grinders (min) [5] Farrow Valkyries [8] Farrow Valkyries [8] Farrow Valkyries [8] Swamp Gobbers Bellows Crew [2] Gobber River Raider [1]
The math on this list's a bit troublesome, if you switch Skarath for two Voids you end up with a free point, which you can't really do too much with. Can't really fit in all of the support from the original list without eating into the rest of your army.
[Barnabas 2] Barnabas, Lord of Blood [+23] - Blackhide Wrastler [16] - Boneswarm [7] - Bull Snapper [5] - Gatorman Soul Slave [0(5)]
Void Archon [8] Dhunian Archon [0(6)] Dhunian Archon [0(6)] Hermit of Henge Hold [5] Orin Midwinter, Rogue Inquisitor [5] Wrong Eye [17]
Boil Master & Spirit Cauldron [5] Farrow Bone Grinders (min) [5] Farrow Valkyries [8] Farrow Valkyries [8] Farrow Valkyries [8]
Seems a bit bloated with support?
[Barnabas 2] Barnabas, Lord of Blood [+23] - Blackhide Wrastler [16] - Boneswarm [7] - Bull Snapper [5] - Gatorman Soul Slave [0(5)]
Void Archon [8] Dhunian Archon [0(6)] Dhunian Archon [0(6)] Hermit of Henge Hold [5] Wrong Eye [17]
Boil Master & Spirit Cauldron [5] Boil Master & Spirit Cauldron [5] Farrow Bone Grinders (min) [5] Farrow Valkyries [8] Farrow Valkyries [8] Farrow Valkyries [8]
If you REALLY want to try for that Hunter's Mark + Gallows spam.

I think that I would be inclined to go a slightly different route and focus not run a Void Archon or Hermit of Henge Hold at all. Barnabas2 already brings dark shroud so that isn't as necessary. I would probably be looking to run something like the last list but swapping out some of the support and the Void Archon for Dahlia and Skarath who are just another strong control piece.

I feel like it might struggle against armor? And the volume of attacks doesn't seem phenomenal. As much as I despise the hermit, I feel like it definitely belongs in this list. MA 7/4 boosted attack rolls on hunter's mark is good, but 9/6B is a lot more consistent, and Fogel says the list heavily relies on it.

I would switch out one unit of farrow for a primal archon. They make a decent body guard for either barnie or wrong eye.

Interestingly Fogel's still running almost the same army.
Barnabas 2 - Mr Bones - Wrastler - Boneswarm - Boneswarm - Soul Slave
Wrong Eye - Snapjaw Dahlia - Skarath Void Archon Boomhowler Hermit of Henge Hold
Boilmaster and Cauldron Boilmaster and Cauldron Farrow Valkyries Farrow Valkyries
Giving up on the bonegrinders, and no dhunian at all. Boomie seems like he can be very useful, with repo '3, but is it worth a dhunian?

Maybe if you're feeling confident? I imagine I'd be a bit worried about Wrongeye's safety if nothing else, but then again Repo 3" on Barnie probably pays big efficiency dividends.

If you drop a boneswarm and boil master you can go double Dhunian. Honestly I'd rather drop the Hermit or Boomie, and get another void archon, everything I've seen indicates they're crazy work pieces. Just a shame they have zero synergy with Barnie2.

Another thought - if you drop Daliah, one boneswarm and one cauldron you can take another Void, a Dhunian and a Wrastler instead. Is that a good idea? I get the impression this list is very weak into shooting, and that only gets worse as your shield guards run out, Dhunian can prolong their existence. This basically brings us back to the beginning of the thread.

Not having played him, I don't really think I have the nuance to decide what a good pair would be. Helga2 seems like, for all her failings, she'll be pretty accurate. Midas has no problems hitting most things. But you'd want to moderate those based on the specific lists that are proving challenging
