Glyn (works for us)
5 points. Rat 7; mat 8, Def 15 with ARM 12 Banisher became place one non Warnoun enemy 1 inch. Not as good as 3 but I figure that adds a bit more flexibility in a Butcher 3 list. Not sure it is worth replacing certain options but might be. Banisher does require things to be DAMAGED so at POW 12 you might ping off a warjack. Sword is 1 inch reach with pow 10 weapon master.
Toned down through CID. Now an interesting option but I don't think by any means an autoinclude.
Minions won't work for Khador but I am seeing some interesting ways to leverage trash with some of my troll stuff ;-)

Malakov2 still loves glynn I think, backstab is a whole lot more reliable now, too bad you can't put puppet master on her in armoured korps. I think glynn + croes are going to be a pretty common merc package for casters that don't care about FF (which is kinda ironic)

Glyn's banisher only working on damage is trash, nothing to see here.
I still cannot fathom why they didnt recompense the OoI models for no longer being able to boost ranged attacks.

She's pretty much auto include in Flames for me, leadership true sight on the vigilants is just great for Zerkova, she traded Sprint for reposition 3 since the last version of the CID, she also went down in cost so more attractive option in a list where you can't pick her for free. I could see a wolves of winter list with her and the Croes, needing to damage on a pow 12 gun is meh, but brittle frost is a thing and turning stuff around for the croes is great, especially when all that stuff has reposition to get out of the way after the murder.

To be fair if it was too easy to trigger a Place effect that would be VERY powerful (it becomes trivially easy to deny charges etc). My current feeling is that she's more of a bonus that occasionally screws up enemy plans, than a piece that you base your own plans around? Or maybe you use her for mind games: your opponent can't ignore the threat she poses, even though you can't rely on her, so you use her to create space or draw fire or that sort of thing?

Ah the classic lanyssa gambit, you can't ignore that I have hunters mark even if it'll never hit. After doing the math yeah it's pretty unreliable at the arm most heavies are at without at least puppet master, maybe malakov in wolves can make the dream happen with puppet master and brittle frost available.
