so to cut it short.
I want to order myself an infernal gate. (and maybe a menite tower) BUT thats all black anchor stuff so it has to be done via the PP store.
i live in belgium
from a scale from 1-10 how EFFED am i if i were to order from the pp store.
because i heard that was a big ol "nope" back when the entire black anchor ordeal started.

Wasnt there talk of a production or shipping hub in the UK? Talk. But not much evidence. A friend of ours wanted to start the game and ordered a lot of Grymkin from a major UK supplier. After 4 months the company still cant get the order out of PP. I know, PP move etc, but after 4 months of this supplier not being able to get her stuff she said "F it". Cancelled her order and walked away from the game before even getting into it. Supply and cost in the UK is a barrier and an issue.

In the netherlands (probably not very different from belgium) we pay 21% tax on orders below 150 euro. On orders above a 150 we also pay 13% import (I think it's 13, but it depends on the product. Sometimes you pay all of that over postage as well, and PP charges a lot on that front.
Don't really know how much though, I never ordered directly.
That's why nobody here has a houch hauler. It's just rediculous to order.

did a communication with the PP store.
IF i limit myself purely to the black anchor models (I.E. infernal gate and collosals) the models will SHIP from the UK. so if i don't wait too long i should be fine getting a GATE.

Keep a close eye on the news tomorrow. If brexit is pushed through, we might find ourselves facing all those taxes ordering from the UK as well.
On a different note. Is the old witch battle engine caster a black anchor model too? It's never in store anywhere I noticed.

So its a shipping hub then, somewhat oddly (or stupidly?) placed in the UK. they have a base in the UK specifically for their uk clientell. its been there for a looong while. (way before brexit was even a thing) they recognized the demand for black anchor models so they made them available in said shipping hub.

I did buy a Well of Orboros, about 2 months ago, becuase of fear of Brexit You have to do this through the PP store website and do buisness as usual. Your BAHI product will then be shipped out from the UK. They ship 1x per month so you could have luck (I had it in a week) or have to wait. To be sure I would not mix BAHI and non BAHI product. Also I would order both BAHI products seperately, then you do not have to wait for one if the other is still being produced, shipment is free of charge anyways. Your key question now should rather be: Whats happening with Brexit? They proclaimed a deal this weekend, but the British parliament has not yet agreed. You should in fact check how toll works in Belgium! For comparison this is what happens if I order something from US (Or Hard Brexit UK?) in Germany: 19% tax on Shipment AND shipping cost if the product costs less than 150€, more than 150€ and you'll get more charges. Then you also pay 6€ weird postage fee as well (This might be significantly higher in other countries!). So either you just order and hope that there woll be no hard Brexit (I do doubt it at the moment) until you get your stuff Regarding many answers here, this was the official announcement (link is dead tough): "Attention, EU Customers: Effective immediately, all Black Anchor EU orders will ship from the UK in order to eliminate additional local fees EU customers have been subject to in the past. Orders will ship once per month from our Liverpool location. All BAHI preorders will continue to ship for free internationally if they are ordered alone. Shipping charges for additional items ordered with the preorder are reduced by 50% (applied after customer selects a shipping option at checkout) and will ship with the preordered items." But you got to love how everybody is absolutely doom and gloom about something that has been known and the Thread author just wanted to make sure (20-25% fees or no fees is significant enough for that!). All of this while the real issue (Brexit) is simply being ingnored

As far as I remember the BHI shipping hub was after Brexit was a thing though, and that decision is what I called odd or stupid. I didnt know that PP had a base in the UK. I can understand why they used their existing base, but given Brexit I'd call it unwise or short sighted instead.
