Rules are out. Still bonkers good (was spray 8 in CID cause now it is SP10!!??!!). I THINK that one of the right casters will be Sorsha1. Thing is going to LOVE FOG and you have a darn decent chance of cranking damage on an assassination run with her. POSSIBLY a darkhorse would be Butcher2 cause he will love have the 5 inch no tough bubble to help with surfing and the opportunity to collect rage tokens with the 10 inch spray.
What else are people seeing? And now I have to look at the release schedule - I sure have given PP/DGI a decent amount of coin lately ;-)

You can play him in Wolves? You are on the khador forum. You really should be playing some Scary Khador from time to time ;-)

It was always Spray 10'' during the CID,
I think Sorscha1 and OW2 will both love him, they both have a way to protect him and both like the non spell based damage buff.
Already played a game with OW2 two void archon, a menite archon and croes cutthroat to trigger the anger on the menite archon, the void archon are very good against any melee based army that don't have an easy way to catch him.
It's on the squishy side, but it has a great damage output and boostable attacks.

Considering I am not likely to buy one any time soon: probably nobody!

Sorscha1 - tried it a bit in CID and liked it. Sorscha1 likes sprays, Void Archons like buffs to their defence against ranged shooting. Definitely take 2 rather than just 1. The -2 ARM is not for regular use, but very nice to have available in a pinch (say you call the wrong list pairing and end up with Sorscha1 vs a couple of huge bases or the like).
Also considering a little faction-hopping into minions for more of my spooky magic fix - Jaga-Jaga for S&P sprays in WWFF.

I just updated war room and don’t see the rules... are they posted somewhere? They're on FB, and the Warmachine University entry is also up to date... Or it didn't change from CID, not sure. Whole raft of abilities: Flight, Dark Shroud, Divine Manifestation, Dual Attack, Entropic Force, Soul Ward, Spectral Scavenger (both friendly and enemy), boostable attacks, a free teleport if it kills things, a 10" P14 Spray and two P13 melee attacks. It's really quite good! EDIT: to answer the actual thread question... Harkevich

They gained two boxes since the end of CID, that was their only change.

to answer the actual thread question... Harkevich I am intrigued. Could you explain the plan here?

I'm going to replace a unit of Doom Reavers + Escort with the Hermit and a Void Archon in my Zerkova1 list:

to answer the actual thread question... Harkevich I am intrigued. Could you explain the plan here? The short and untested version of it is that I really like his feat, Mobility, and the Field Marshal to a lesser extent. But he suffers from having no hit or damage fixers, and that mobility really eats into his focus. Thus, Wolves. Gives him access to a lot of focus, hit and damage fixers, and magical weapons. Within Wolves itself, the Void Archon is a great troop clearer, provides anti-healing tech, and a non-spell ARM debuff. All extremely useful things.

My obvious answers...
Vlad 2, since he’s our best WoW caster and the Void Archon probably just makes him better. OW 2, since ARM debuff stacking is probably a thing. Strakhov 1, since the Void Archon adds a 17” threat ARM debuff on a stick to a great assassination caster. 17”, by the by, is the threat range of your apparating unit on feat turn.

Oh I like the Strakov 1 idea. If you are REALLY one of the cool kids you will trigger battle wizard off the Koldun lord to make the doom reavers hitting at POW 16 ;-)

And the Superiority Grolar is hitting at POW 22 auto knockdown.
