Hi friends,
Should we have a Riot Quest board under notmahordes? I appreciate it may not be heavily used but it can't hurt to have a designated spot to chat

I definitely would like to see one. Let me hear your tales of carnage, your thoughts on the game, all of that, please!

I agree. Riot Quest should have its own section. While an alternate timeline in the Iron Kingdoms, it doesn't really fit into a Warmachine/Hordes section besides maybe "Giant Balls and Wrecking Halls" in Other PP Games.

Is anyone playing Riot Quest? How does it compare to Aristeia? It does look like fun. What are your opinions?

I think Riot Quest and MonPoc have gotten big enough to have there own sections. They have beyond being "mini" games.

Is anyone playing Riot Quest? How does it compare to Aristeia? It does look like fun. What are your opinions? I'm enjoying it. The first few games had a vibe of just throwing dice around and whoever got luckiest seemed to win, but we've been uncovering a bit more nuance as we play. It's simple and random chance (particularly on Rig checks) plays enough of a role that new people always feel like they have a chance to win. Haven't played many three player games yet, I've been gradually growing my own collection and mostly just drafting teams with opponents who don't own or play any Riot Quest/Warmachine from that one set of models, so I probably won't crack the 15 model minimum for three players until January. That said, I think the game's design makes it work in a really interesting way with more than two players, it radically changes how the game works without breaking the game, if that makes sense.

Thanks for creating the board. I wasn't sure where to park my questions.
