Blocking LOS means they can't charge. Was their walk-and-hit range greater than your charge range? And was losing the charging damage boost not a problem for them cracking your armour? And did they ignore the -2 to hit from being in the clouds, or were they accurate enough even without charging that it didn't matter?

Like I said, I get it if everyone and their dog you play against ignores clouds casually, but for quite a time I felt like I always had a game with her in, say, LoS, simply by the sidestep she does to the normal Khador casters you could play her into really dumb matchups and walk out victorious, or with a much closer game than you had any real right to.
Or maybe it was because I was somewhat good back then, instead of washed up with a disintegrated local playerbase.

Quite often the clouds wouldn’t do anything meaningful. Cloud up, the opponent moves to within their threat but out of my threat, then on my turn my all-melee force just goes “Uh... well I guess I run at you.” But the last few times that sort of problem happened, there were stupid fast cavalry models waiting on me, so something or the other? So you do it again.
That or you do the feat-charge thing where you just put that feat bubble over his entire army so he can't run away, or charge, or shoot, or do anything meaningful. It's how I beat the AC matchup I was pretty sure I'd lose -because AC basically does everything LoS does but better-; first I kill his chariot via charging my Uhlans through a house all ghostly like, he draws in more, I budge back just a little bit, he goes in more, I feat-charge in and saw his knees right off: He no longer has good options; his Shocks are going to go without shield wall meaning they are IFP bait and unbuffed demo corps, he played Vlad2 so he had like 12 models wich needed a defensive feat but he could only spare 5; ghost walk allowed my pikes to charge really deep.
Also Zerkova's squishyness is weird: Armies kill her but there's only a handful of casters that can reliably kill her at range, assuming you leave her arse out with zero focus even. Because a single Handcannon shot is literally the best a lot of casters can do to a cold immune, sacred warded caster.
