So Im fairly new to the game with skorne as my army, buying a large preowned army from a friend. Our group plays 1 game a week and ive been playung for 2 months. Im wondering what people think is better between the bronzeback titan and the tjtan sentry, or just a general idea for how people decide which titan to throw in what situation. Any other thoughts or advise on faction also welcomed. We currently play 35pt

Bronzebacks hit harder, while Sentries absorb shots at your Warlock much better. They really aren't intended to take each other's places. The Gladiator and Bronzeback tend to be closer to similar roles in the army, though, with the Bronzeback's Leadership allows it to be more desired.

First is there for Rush.

The Bronzeback is more fun. It is an exceptional beast, especially on offense. Though a short threat range, he can bully anything he is near.
I find the Sentry utilitarian. Rarely dies, but is usually a second wave beast. Shield guard is useful, reach weapon and shield are good . . . but the Bronzeback is more fun : )

Bronzeback seems more universally usable to me. He doesn't need accuracy fixing, can run without Painalgivers, etc. The Sentry feels more unique: longer reach, shield guard, but needs caster support to do enough. Frankly I like Sentries with Zaadesh and Xerxes2 only. Bronzeback I like almost all the time. But in those two instances, I find the Sentry to be quite worth the inclusion. Of course those lists often include a BB as well...
