I love the purple, white, and brass. It's a very effective combination.

I do know why that journeyman Warcaster gives me a [REDACTED], but it does.

I like your precision and the colors (expect maybe the skintone of the skorne, but that's clearly a matter of taste). If I may recomend something: Get your layers thinner. Thin the paint down and get rid of any excess paint. What I do is, I always touch a paper towel after applying paint on the brush before I touch the model with it. I think it is getting better toward the bottom of the thread, but for example at Koldun Lord's cloak you can clearly see the brushstrokes in the cornor. I personal feel that a thin paint layer always looks like a much better painted model. Yours look quite good with nice effects. Thinning down a bit might make them look really great.

Thanks for the feedback. I definitely know what you mean about the Koldun Lord, some of these models were done a few years ago ago and I've been adjusting since then, especially with the lighter colours. I've always had a hard time with whites in particular but using multiple thinner coats has helped. I've also started using Vallejo thinning medium instead of (and/or in combination with) water and that has improved things as well.
When I get to posting my Cygnar jacks, you'll probably notice the same thing; I've pretty seriously refined my approach from the first ones I painted to the most recent and the difference is noticeable. At some point I might go back and revisit the older ones.
Thanks for your thoughts!

Is the Sentry's flag free-hand or did you use a different method?
If it's freehand... *slow clap* Respect. It is awesome.

Irusk2. Mine has some conversion work done on it. He was missing the head, which I was okay with because I didn't like his ridiculous hat, and the replacement head I came up with reminds me of Bruce Campbell, which makes my Irusk approximately nine thousand percent cooler than anybody else's. Hail to the [Supreme] Kommandant, baby. My favorite of your models.

I love the brass metallic bits, especially on the Cygnar. I'm envious - I can never seem to get my metallics to look quite as nice as yours are.

Gun mages! I wanted my gun mages to use the same colours as the rest of my Cygnar (teal and tan) but also stand out, so they add in a lot of purple. This worked out better than I was hoping; they look like part of the same force but still stand out. Gunmage Officer, a slightly converted Reaper Sophie. Gun Mage Captain Adept, another converted Reaper mini. The whole gang:

I love the numbered Khador jacks! #5 is just the slightest off though; that middle line needs to extend past the downward line to be written right vs

Been a while ... Some light Cygnar jacks. This guy was the first Cygnar jack I painted up and it isn't done in the same style as the rest. I need to go back and do some work on him to get him looking like the others. These guys are closer to my standard Cygnar lineup: The most recent of these guys:
