When using a model that has gun fighter and using your ranged weapon in melee, do you use your RAT or MAT?

Gunfighter allows you to make ranged attacks while in melee, so you'd use RAT. There was a rule called Point Blank (not sure if it still exists) that allowed models to make melee attacks with ranged weapons - that's the only case I can think of where you'd use MAT instead.

Yep Point Blank still exists on Sea Dogs, who also get gang on top of it.

Remember that even though to can make range attacks in melee you still have to take the penalty for models that have concealment or cover as it is still considered a ranged attack.

That is something that I hadn't considered, but looking at the rule, it makes sense.
