I like the original Paladin, so I like this one, but... I actually think the original Paladin was better, especially the sculpt with the sword resting against the ground. Still, with the new faction crossover themes more people might have a use for Paladins than before (or not, I haven't really been paying too much attention to the details of the themes), so more people might have a need for a Paladin model. Thoughts?

The armor is too slack to be a full plate. Other than that, it is an OK model - for I am a hater of boob plate, and the model lacks it.
Perhaps the first thing to do after priming should be adding the armor parts by some putty. She needs a pair of rerebraces and couters, and a gorget. She also needs to protect her abdomen as well. If she wears chain skirt or something on her thigh then she don't need a pair of cuisses, but if she don't then she also needs it as well. There are too much job to do before ready to battle.

Well, an another solution would be painting her exposed parts as mail. You know, mails are flexible armor and must be mold to the body to be effective. If you wear mails and does not wear it tightly, it is easily broken even against the simple impact. Also, typical 'plate armor' also uses mail on the joint.
The problem is, most infantry armor in West Immoren are also uses mail parts much and plate armor in Immoren are usually uses plate parts more. But at least such modification makes her armed properly.
If your painting skill is good then you may paint her exposed sections as plated armor parts as well.
But I doubt everyone can do the same. Painting it to be mail is not so easy task either.
Other than the modeling problems, yeah, new sculpt is always welcome, unless it is very weird. I don't think that many people will like to field two or more totally identical solo models. Although Paladin has two versions(and Sir Ekkrion, who gives us a third choice) already, but an another choice should be welcome.

Thoughts? I think the concept art for her looked cool, not sure about the model. It looks nice visually, but it's the sort of fanservice where you can't integrate it too well into an army or IKRPG. Pendrake, Sylys and Feast's minicrates are more overtly sexual, but they don't clash with the aesthetic as much.

I wish the armour was better. The midsection is bothering me; a single ornate plate, then regular cloth, then a skirt, then apparently exposed knees, then heavily armoured boots? It's strange. The could have given her more armour on the body and still left a low neckline if they wanted, and it would have looked better overall. Also the visor kind of looks strange without the usual heavy armour of the Paladin (OK, I admit: it even looks strange on the regular Paladin).
I'm torn. If she was a regular $8-12 model that I could pick up as part of another order, I would go for it. But between the price and shipping, I have to pay over $20 (close to $30 tbh) for Minicrate models, and I don't know that she's worth that to me.

Isn't shipping supposed to be included in the price? at least IIRC that's how they're advertised. The unarmored abdomen is the thing that really bothers me. The exposed neck and cleavage are a bit offputting, but not that much, but the chestpiece just doesn't feel right, hence what I said about the fanservice feeling wrong. Titty time + heavy armor / frontliner vibe just looks weird. I also get a really strong spartan vibe from her, with the huge shield, relatively exposed body, huge cape, and pose. IDK if that's really a bad thing, it just feels more Idrian style than classic menite.

Well, her pose is close to one of the old Paladins, and they do have a bit of a Spartan thing going on in a way as (originally at least) they weren't exactly part of the Protectorate's main forces so they were kind of loners and often fought alone against superior numbers (at least that's my vague recollection).

I think the exposed thighs is what really makes the difference. Speaking of shipping, where -do- you live? I recall you mentioning you live either somewhere in the middle east or north asia a couple of months ago.

Guys, that's why I hate boob plates - I hate nipple armor as I hate boob plate!
Jokes aside, it seems lower body seems more problem. Only if skirt part is looks like the armor it seems better than that.

I don't mind boobplate, PP do a very good job of implementing it into their designs in a way that doesn't interfere with the overall look of the characters. My issue with the Sister's armor is that it's just a weird chest (literally) plate over a plain shirt. it doesn't mesh. Either you're wearing armor or you're not, but this midway point just looks awkward. Butcher4 is shirtless and he still looks more reasonable than the sister, just because it's consistent.

I think this sculpt is showing the Paladin of the Wall version of bikini armor. Notice that the breast plate only covers the breasts? There you go...
