They seem like the bomb.
From the CiD version, they lost flametrail but gained fuel for the flames. Seems like an exciting piece with grevious wounds, tresher, survivability and fire damage support. They also have repo 3 in CM, which helps with fuel for the flames. Even the humble castigator gets to pwr 16 auto hitting damage and the reckoner gets a mild boost.

I love the model, it really is beautiful, but I'll need to test the rules.

I'm really happy about getting the +2 to fire damage without Hand Of Judgment.

Anyone else not have access to the Archon in War Room? I figured it would appear as Partisan Merc similar to Idrians or is Oblivion stuff counted separately?

Thread necro, don't care.
Menoth Archon is wonderful. It's tanky, it can hit quite hard, and it buffs our saddest sub-theme of Fire. I've generally used it to clear units with Thresher, but it can do work on single targets too.
Had a game last week where I charged an Archon and Champion of the Order at a Trident, did a ton of damage. Trident then sent all attacks at the Archon and failed to kill by 1 box, next turn it finished off the Trident. Not typical results, but really fun.
At this point, my thought process has become "does my list have 2+ sources of fire? Do I have 8 pts to spare? If yes to both, get an Archon and repeat question."

It's a decent substitute for a champ of the wall or even hand of silence in non-harbinger FM.

In fact, he got a bit lucky. Mathing it out, with no additional assistance (not sure what the Ret player had), the Trident only has a roughly 8.5% chance to kill an Archon--and that was assuming it got 8 shots and used all three boosts. DEF 15/ARM 19 with 15 wounds is really bad for Gunfighter models, doubly so if they are living (becomes DEF 17 thanks to the double hit of Ashen Veil). The Archon is a solid boy. For me, he replaces the Champion in non-Harby Faithful Masses just because the 'casters I'd run in that theme all have use for Fuel for the Flames.
