That's excellent. Tactician is a crazy good benefit.

That's excellent. Tactician is a crazy good benefit. And to get that in place of thay awful +1 to starting rolls makes it even beter. I'm also looking forward to bloodseers copying worthwhile animi.

I saw on the subreddit that Oracles was talked about on a LoS podcast. For those of us at work, has anyone listened to it and is able to provide summaries?
Edit:
So a friendly redditor posted this in response to my request for a text summary:
All Warlocks
Non-Character beasts and Proteus
Models/Units with Magical Ability
Spawning Vessels
Beast Mistresses
Blight Nyss Shepherds
Incubi
Spell Martyrs
Any number of Minion Units, Solos, and Battle Engines that work for Legion
Requisition:
-5 Incubi
-1 Blighted Nyss Sorceress and Hellion
-1 Legion Command Attachment
-1 other Small or Medium based Legion Solo
-Minions are Blighted and small or medium based Minions can be replaced with an Incubi
-Enemy models ending activation within 2" of a Blighted model get the corrosion continuous effect
-Upkeeps on friendly models can begin the game in play
Can anyone confirm?

I honestly did not expect Legion to get a Minions theme, but it finally gives me the excuse to load up Brigands.

so for now, 2 themes that are really better only because they removed the stupid bg limitations of the current version. theme bonus are meh imha. my gunlines aren't struggling to hit, they are struggling because everyone as sac pawn, and their little sister has shield guard. tactitian I really don't see the utility on nyss units that don't want to play grouped around the warlock but spread across the board. never felt the need for it. unyielding is stupid cause now nobody will play nephilims in children (poor azrael that now has to compete with typhon lol).
and then there is the oracles massacre. legion players don't buy minions ? maybe because none of our support works on them and our units benefit from our debuffs the same... so let's say you can pop incubi on minions models. but you still have to pay for the incubi so really you could just take FF models and do the same but work with your warlock also. there problem solved. don't forget to replace the cool but obviously oh so overpowered apparition bonus with some totally useless bonus (and also quite hard to play right, 'blighted' models are totally random in legion).
I am really impatient to see the primal terrors murder. or the wasps disposal (yeah right they can pop from cauldron now, well I guess mine will join my vessels... on the shelves)
but hey, at least we can now play our infantry-support gargant with more than 1/4th of our infantery units ! profit !

My personnal bets: - we don't get an insider overview because PP forgot about Legion. - we somehow get less viable choices post-reform. Maybe one less theme, or less free stuff (eg no more free hellmouth and sorceress). - we get some totally useless stuff as a compensation. Like, grots getting natural ambush or shit like that. Maybe free scather crew. That would be fun. He started with baseless whining and he'll be damned if he stops now.

Yeah let’s wait until we see what else is changing about the actual model rules before we get too riled up. We are basically going to a Mark 3.5 version of the game.

Yeah let’s wait until we see what else is changing about the actual model rules before we get too riled up. We are basically going to a Mark 3.5 version of the game. oh my not riled up. those 2 first themes "unlocked" 3 list I've always wanted to play but couldn't. now they are legal in theme so i can have free points. can't seem to benefit from theme bonus but laybe with time I'll see where they can fit. oracles though is losing bug time compared to previous version. but even then it unlocked the tentacle list with prhyas so I guess I'll have some fun with that, and forget apparition. I saw they talked about betty needing some rework (well, pvayl needs it more imo) so finger crossed, she's not missing much now she can play what she wants in theme. maybe 24 beast points and/or decrease désintégration cost to 2... still one of the most unique gameplay in legion mk3.

Oracles seems like a funsies theme but not actually good to me. I own minions and I can't think of any particularly good builds because minion infantry are mostly weak, plus they're non faction.
Bethayne has a pretty reasonable spell list. She has ridiculously low beast points and an absolutely terrible feat.

How are Brigands and the Thresher under Lylyth's parasite?

How are Brigands and the Thresher under Lylyth's parasite? Why not do it with stuff that's good? The theme benefits aren't what Lylyth wants I think. Upkeeps out doesn't matter, Proteus is no big deal and her stuff isn't survivable enough for the passive. If you want brigands you can still take one unit in other themes.
