So with the prerelease of Infernals several partisan models were added to Infernals that may also be used in the themes without restriction. I was curious what everyone thinks of these choices.
Orin 1: He seems okay but I think if you are going to take Orin it will be Orin 2.
Eilish1: Eilish 2 seems like a straight upgrade I don't see a reason to take him.
Saxon Orick: A stealth marked soul with AD is nice and in certain scenarios may be enough to warrant his inclusion and Pathfinder can help out Howlers. He seems like fun to run against Hordes beasts under Zaateroths feat with Def 18 or 20 with the Lamenter and he gets to hit them each time they try to hit him.
Croe's Cutthroats: To me this is the most interesting given the limited unit choices of Dark Legacy. Every one of our casters has some way to make them immune to free strikes for backstab. They are one of the three AD things in the faction and native stealth helps them survive on the way in and they can still be used to replenish essence.
What do you all think?

after consideration i would probably never field orin 1 since everything orin 1 can do orin 2 can do but also has a nice aoe shot effect that can claim enemy souls. i'm legit considering sticking him on a ambush unit once just to see how well that would go.
eilish2 seems like a direct upgrade, hexblast is a nice and "safe" way to deal with upkeeps how ever that doesn't mean eilish1 doesn't have any good options for us.
where eilish2 is clearly a more OFFENSIVE piece, eilish1 can allow us to place pressure against magic happy foes.
saxon: pathfinder on stick(always good) and upfront marked soul can be good. HOW EVER since 2 casters have acces to ghostly and aside from 2 units everything else has flight. well he's a good pointfiller but i don't think i will reserve points for him.
CROE's cutthroaths: no marked soul, a ok unit with a good officer. i so far i'm of the oppinion that their soulless flying counterpart are a better ranged option. despite stealth and AD.

Of note it has been hinted through Dev notes and people in the know that Croes Cutthroats will be getting prey soon which I think greatly increases my interest in them.

I think the biggest impact for the next 4+ months is that they fill the gap until the other solos become available. At L&L the PP store had Nicia and Runewood 1's, presumably as a non-tournament proxy suggestion.
