I don't like the menoth archons. I don't feel like he brings anything unique or useful on the table.
I would love if he had some explosion on death mechanic.

He now has thresher 2" grevious wounds. 15 wounds and potential def 15 arm 21. Not exciting but viable with some in-faction buffs.

Flame Trail was actually good. Boosted to hit was good. Second swing boosted damage was good. But like the paladin champ, some people just couldnt be happy, now were getting “Girded” again.
Lost speed buff. Lost 3 effective boosts. Lost Retalitory strike for basically vengeance. Sure, it has more raw power. But yall Female Doged to much.
Im not a fan of this version.

Flame Trail without parry isn't good. Unsupported fire CE is kinda bad. Vengeance move adds more and is non linear. You can even use it on turns You don't charge to try and spread fire. +2 arm is great, even if its conditional. +2 str and +1 pow on sword on a charge is better to all boosted dmg attacks on charge turn. On non charge turn its worse.
On charge turn: Now 17 + 10,5 = 27,5 and 15 + 7 = 22 Total 49,5 Then 14 + 10,5 = 24,5 and 13 + 10,5 = 23,5 Total 48 On non charge turn: Now 17 + 7 = 24 and 15 + 7 = 22 Total 46 Then 14 + 10,5 = 24,5 and 13 + 10,5 = 23,5 Total 48
Accuracy went down. Even with mat 8 it's hard to do a solo hunt. Thresher with chain weapon and grievous wounds is great. Heavy infantry may start to fear him if he would hit a little bit stronger.
Feels like a side grade at worst, and a little boost at best.
Just spreading fire isn't fun when opponent has arm 19 or most of it goes off.
IMHO it should have both old and new rules combined.

They should just drop flame trail and give him back his fireboosted rule. Edit: okay, they've given him Divine Inspiration. He's still an uninspiring model, but at least he doesn't have accuracy problems anymore.

I played 3 games woth Feora3 in Warriors of the Old Faith tonight. Yes, they all ended fast. Still won two, but only because of player error. Man, Feora3 is SOOOO bad outside HoD.
But Righteous Fury + Incite + Master of Ruin on archon is lol fun.
