Technically a straight-handled thick-headed narrow-bladed edgeless axe. You are a good person

I so wish that karchev's feat still boosted attack rolls. Two words, it does. It actually doesn't. It only boosts melee damage rolls and grants Damage Type: Magical.

You did actually, but it sounded like you meant to say that Karchev's feat still boosted melee attack rolls. I guess you meant it puts you in a list chicken situation. My bad!

As somebody who's not 100% familar with the jargon:
1. What is a list chicken? 2. Does it taste good?

1. What is a list chicken? It's a bit like a battery hen. Depends on whether it's free-range or not.

Karchev and seven or so jacks can't really compete with a horde of Tharn. It depends on what your first list is. I find that when running Sorscha_1 in Wolves, the Circle player will drop their Bones lists instead of Tharn. Once Tharn have been scared off the table, the Khador player can drop their second list. But then you have players that want to "next level" list choices, and flip flop on list selection. It's a classic Prisoner's Dilemma, but some people don't understand the matchup and inevitably fall victim to their own list chicken. That said, Prisoner's Dilemma assumes both players are Rational. And as Lord of the Feast proves, Circle players more certainly are not
