As the title suggests.... Im returning from quite a long break, I was pretty frustrated with the way things were going with the game and how PP was handling the forums and the inconsistent rule changes across the game.
So coming back i figured I'd check in and get a handle on how things have changed for legion in mk3. The gaming store I had been going to has gone down in members from about 20 regulars to about 4-5. I still have quite a decent selection of models and I guess the best place to start is to list what I have so I can figure out what I need to get.
PThags, EThags, PVayl, EVayl, ELylyth
AA, 2x Ravagores, 2x Scytheans, Carnivean, Typhon, Zureal, Seraph, 2x Angelius, 12 Shredders, 2 harriers, Naga, Raek, Bolt thrower
Spawning vessel, Strider scouts+UA, Legionaires, BFS
2x Frosaken, 2x Sheperds, Succubus, Annyssa, 3x Spell martyrs
Any suggetions on what I should be purchasing? Ideas on lists?

It's a hard un to answer really. Competition Legion and scenario have both changed significantly and to put it bluntly, this selection of models won't get you far in any of the metashifts from the last three years. It's all about the ogres these days. Thememachine hit Legion really hard that way, and many think it stripped Legion of it's mk1+2 identity. If you want to play the kind of legion you are used to you obviously can (a beastbrick with thrones is still ok I believe?) but in general you will limp behind on the powercurve. If that doesn't concern you though... Prepare for a challenge The easiest way to add to that collection is probably the throne, and then to take a look at the oracles theme. eThags is a beast these days and the throne loves his armourbuff, so he can definitely take you a long way. I like to run farrow briggands with him (and many others). Self sufficient unit and their reposition works well with his feat. Solid unit in general, I allways give them a consideration when making lists. Edit: Another option are the chosen (ogre cav) which are really good, and a hellmouth (which you will be able to add for free along with the chosen). This is enough to get you settled in the terrors theme I think. Good unit, good freebee, and the passive bonus (+2" deploy) is just great for lists that want to put on the pressure. All this works well with eThags and the theme allows you all your (non character) beasts. With him you might even consider an ogre warchief(?) solo over the hellmouth. Given the huge money investment required for those chosen I can't comfortably recommend them, but it's a good unit for sure.

Ideas on lists? Could you point us to your prefered list style (beast bricks I pressume) and how competitive you want to be/your psls from yhe store are? With what you've got you can build Oracle list with either caster, but I would point you toward either Thagrosh. If so, you should consider Throne, Hexhunters + UA, Ice Witches and Sorc on Hellion as possible ways to expand. If you don't need to pursue bleeding edge of the meta (and with current Legion it will be hard) you should have fun with your collection of models. You should have in mind that new units/themes will come with Oblivion book and there is rumor about Legion CiD later on.

In the past I would typically bring two lists with me to tourneys, an Attrition list and the EVayl assassin list. I typically placed high in the tourneys and on occassions I ran into a heavy Cryx meta, I always had a Saeryn list ready to bring. I do have a massive Cygnar collection i can sell, Id rather not part with it for sentimental reasons though.
So the Chosen and a couple hellmouths... I havent been able to find many videos on youtube to learn from to see how this composition works, any suggestions?

I havent been able to find many videos on youtube to learn from to see how this composition works, any suggestions? They're not videos, but since Chosen released I've played into them quite a few times and recorded a lot of my games. They're all from a Minion (mostly pig) player's perspective. I've linked a couple of them below in case you are interested: lormahordes.freeforums.net/post/111403/threadlormahordes.freeforums.net/post/118560/threadlormahordes.freeforums.net/post/122738/threadA Thagrosh1 and a couple of Anamag games in there, no Thags2 sadly. In a nutshell, the Hellmouths are a difficult to dislodge, eternally regenerating, free point screen that allows you to deliver the (relatively slow but very hard to kill) Chosen into the enemy without as much risk of them getting jammed or gummed up by enemy models. The Blightbringer aura stacks very well with both units' natural resilience, as does any additional armour buff (or strength debuff) your Warlocks can bring to bear.
