Is it just me, or has web design taken a giant dump on itself over the past five years or so? Maybe it looks okay on mobile or large-monitor desktops (I wouldn't know), but on a laptop this new Privateer Press site, like plenty of others these days, is exceedingly frustrating to read and navigate. There seems to some kind of a fetish these days for text that is way too big, surrounded by too much white space, embedded in layouts that are flashy but require way too much scrolling to navigate. I guess the new Privateer Press site is still a work in progress. But Kotaku isn't, and it's a pretty good example of the terribleness I'm talking about. Ars Technica is decent, I guess. It's not just you, the design is wasteful and bad.

How about the insiders? I really don't like using Facebook as a primary source of information. They're under "News" as far as I know. Personally, I hope they start dividing the insiders into topic.
