Solid arguments could be made for either caster. What are you going to be using?

Are you calling those two out specifically because S0 buffs their personal threat range?

Either is good, but I think the important thing is having targets in the list that are not your warcasters to send in there.
Prob down to personal preference

Both will gain from her in the list, but Karchev or rather his BC will gain the most. She elevates his BC jacks so you might finally be able to get that Alpha, gain more from your Road to War and keep your opponent from scoring and loosing to scenario (at least that has been my personal greavens with Karchev).
You only loose one of your jacks (the ShieldGGuard Rager) to her and a free choice (I usually keep Yuri and one big bad Santa (Forge Seer).

You could keep all your jacks by moving your Devastator to Sorscha, assuming you're playing one. As long as he gets to run forward or trample, he's happy as a clam (pun intended).

Both like her, but in different theme I think. Karchev in jaws obviously, where you'll be banking on Karchev being a beast himself since that theme is otherwise terrible. Or in the case of Butcher3, I like the idea of having Sorscha0 with him in winterguard kommand. Boundless charge on fun carriage is amazing, and so is boundless charge on advance moving jacks. Not sure which I'll be puting on the table first but they both do very different jobs so I don't think they fight for a place in a list pairing.

Yes he'll gain too, everything that can be played in Jaws gains by her.

Yes he'll gain too, everything that can be played in Jaws gains by her. I bring him up specifically because we were discussing hard-hitting warcasters, and he's up there once he casts Blood of Kings; having access to his full threat range without having to cast BC himself sounds nice. But yeah, without stacked movement buffs it's not as big deal as B3 or special-K.

I want to like Karchev, but JAWs is just playing way down. I did try two gameswith a karchev/WGK list, Tharn beat the spirit out of me. What kind of lists are you running in jaws?

Jaws (with Karchev in particular) against the Tharn lists, is a no go. Maybe with a super kitted list. My lists have had the Steelhead Cavalry in them, with some success as they throw the opponent off a bit and work wonders for your scenario pressure (fast guys that still require some effort to get rid of). Not sure if I'll keep running them when I get S0. The jacks have been a mixed, usually at least two juggernauts in every list (man they will finally be worth their points increase with S0), then a Rager and a Destroyer on a Forge Seer for some solid shooting and incorp removal (you don't want to feat just for that).

And what about karchev with both the baby warcasters?
Kharchev adjunct (free) 2 kodiaks 2 marauders
malakov1 (free) viktor
Sorscha0 (free) Beast09
min mehcs gobber tinker
It's 100pts of warjack. This means 4 free solos or CAs, so I have another free option to take. I was thinking about the mechanics CA, more repairing rolls, anti-blast for the mechs (and other solos) and a very good target for suker! Other options could be Yuri or the marksman. The forge seer seems useless with 3 warcasters.
Beast09 is expensive, but it's 7 pts more than the rager and you still have shieldguard + a killing machine. It can be usefull against annoying units like satyxis or similar. It can also trigger RtW pretty easely. Viktor on malakov is risky, but redline on it is super effective with boundless charge and the d3 damages can be pretty ignored, and the huge base can screen him well.
Kodiaks bring pathfinder on the table, and marauder are cheap but effective. The adjunct upkeep battlecharged and with the kodiak you have a nice mobile cloudwall, plus magical weapons on the victor.

Just bring S1 in Wolves and that all but ensures they can not drop their Tharn into you. Still need to test my list into Bones. Jaws with S0 feels like a perfect compliment to S1 Wolves - probably more than AC.
