After watching the Dev Chat about Infernals, and how their magic is fueled by cultists with a 12/12 stat line...
Does that bring new utility to Kossite Woodsmen? Or are the other options we have for dealing with infantry still going to be better options?
(I am just looking for any reason to finally built my Kossites at this point)

And Kossites are not exactly in a strong theme.

Soul Samurai - you used the line I thought of when I saw the thread title. Great minds... Hah, I will say that the thread title was fairly sarcastic. Victor does still seem to be the better option, or two Winter Guard Mortar crews taken for free in WGK.

Why not just flank with outriders or shoot with a Victor? That just seems better to me. It's fairly easy to position models to not get backstrike from ambushing models, so def 12 is still a lot to deal with for kossites. Also they are in jaws, jaws is bad. Not seeing the kossites being a thing.

With the addition of Sorscha0 and the Greylord Adjunct, Jaws is not that bad.

Autocorrect changed “Kossites” into some random word, I somehow liked my own post... Cats and dogs living together, mass hysteria! Kossites will never, ever, ever get Prey. But, RAT 5 and Hunter... Now we’re talking. (Heck they could probably stay RAT 4 and do a good job with Hunter...)

I like the idea of Hunter. I don't know if it's what the Kossites need (as you say it might work at RAT 5), but I do like the rule and it would be nice to have it in-faction.

Nah. Every time you use the Pray ability the unit sends off 'thoughts and prayers' towards PP in the hopes that the mighty gods will one day remember they exist and fix their bloody rules.
