Irusk has been called upon to take on the High Reclaimer and his favourite pet, the Judicator. If you are interested, you can find out how he fared by reading the battle report here.

With your speculation on Severius0, he's in the list for his ability to provide +1 to attack and damage to his army. Because of his rules he must take a jack, and the Dervish is both cheap, relatively hard hitting, and synergises with Road to War to get into some odd places. As your Field Gun discovered!
I don't think it was actually that bad of an idea to run Irusk into that list. Look at it another way: If you had successfully dealt with the Judicator, he wouldn't have the attack volume to deal with you.
Hitting power is always an issue with a full-on winter guard spam. The quickest fix is to find four points for Valachev on Aiyanna and Holt, allowing your models to benefit from Kiss of Lyliss. This has the additional benefit of making them blast immune and more mobile.
Another option is to up the number of jacks at the cost of one of the WG units. Up to you which route you go.
When the Spriggan was out of range to hit the Judicator, is that including the +2" from Energiser? A lot of people forget that.
The Rifles would have 100% been better off getting For the Motherland!, aiming, and/or doing 2-man CRAs to flatten the Dervish. As you point out, though, you would have to move the Field Gun first.
Did Irusk use his feat? It's worth noting a couple of things: under the feat, the HR's already-slow army basically becomes treacle. You only need to catch one member of an enemy unit for the whole unit to get -3 SPD. The Judicator's Flamethrowers have a max threat of 12" if you hit it with the feat, so you can actually clip it safely given that you can make yourself almost immune to the rockets.
You're taking the Spriggan for its anti-stealth abilities, not its combat prowess. It's not a great beater for the cost, as MAT6 lets it down, but you can't really miss a colossal and P18 is strong. I'd say it still has a place for you.
It's a good report though; nicely laid out and described.

Yes, I have come to that realisation. With the release of the Greylord Adjunct, I think I might switch the Spriggan and Aiyana & Holt for two additional Marauders. Three Marauders should present a significant threat (including backup Marauders). When the Spriggan was out of range to hit the Judicator, is that including the +2" from Energiser? A lot of people forget that. Honestly, I can't remember. I think I might have allocated too much focus to the 'jacks to do it. It is an easy on to forget. I do it often. The Rifles would have 100% been better off getting For the Motherland!, aiming, and/or doing 2-man CRAs to flatten the Dervish. As you point out, though, you would have to move the Field Gun first. I think so, I usually remember. However, I can't see the feat token on any of my pictures, so I might. You're taking the Spriggan for its anti-stealth abilities, not its combat prowess. It's not a great beater for the cost, as MAT6 lets it down, but you can't really miss a colossal and P18 is strong. I'd say it still has a place for you. I kind of like it. But I'll think I'll give the tripple Marauder a go. In particular from Friday and onwards, when the Adjunct (hopefully) shows up at an army near me It's a good report though; nicely laid out and described. Thank you.
