Hi! I recently started circle, and until now I've been playing mostly small games with the battle box and some bigger in call of the wild. I'm looking to expand into one more theme and even if it sucks, I think wild hunt looks cool. Is it possible to make it work? I'm not looking for a tournament winning list here, just ideas for something that might at least be playable. I mostly plan to play tannith or casters that look the part in thematic, fun and hopefully playable force. Any ideas? Thanks!

Grayle is pretty much the wild hunt caster and Tanith is probably not bad in that theme either with two units of reeves affliction will do a real number on most things although all those dice is going to take a while to roll...
Also war wolves, those guys are fun, as are ambushing Wolves of Orboros.
The drawbacks of the theme are it doesn't hit incredibly hard and is fairly fragile so just keep that in mind.
Best of luck

Morvahna 1 is pretty nifty. She loves skin walkers, and brings them to acceptable levels imo. I think she is CLOSE to be ok in there, and you privably have to be satisfied with that.
I would not go for more than 1-2 free cards at 75 points though. The cards are not super strong and the stuff you have to take to get them is pretty weak too. Id go for a bigger battle group instead. Brennos is nice as is a wold warden. The combo of a pureblood and a wold wyrd or two is strong too!
The combo of brennos healing and the healing on the skinwalkers is super sweet for skin walkers who have been brought back with 1 health, at least on paper.

The Wild Hunt is a perfectly playable and functional theme as is. It is, however, lackluster in terms of "power level", but that's okay. Wild Hunt gives you access to one of Circle's best shooting units (Reeves). Wolves of Orboros aren't really stand out as far as light infantry go, but they are decent. Cheap, quick enough, accurate, and power swell on the Officer gives them a chance to dent some things. Getting ambush obviously helps them a lot, but as very basic light infantry with victim stats don't expect them to route the enemy on their own. Skinwalkers can bea decent roadblock and are maybe even especially good with Morvanna1, but they also lack in punch. You'll need to consider your caster and beasts carefully to deal with armor as none of the Wolfsworn type models are really going to take on the role of beater.

Oh, and we havent mentioned the two other sort of good options i see.
Tanith with double reeves can output surprising amounts of damage against heavy targets by plinking them, and murders single wound stuff dead.
Wurmwood with Wolves gets all the souls he needs and his veasts actually benefits from seeing through forests!

I actually managed to build a Mor-1-a list i kinda like (in wild hunt that is).
Theme: The Wild Hunt 2 / 2 Free Cards 75 / 75 Army
Morvahna the Autumnblade - WB: +28 - Brennos the Elderhorn - PC: 15 (Battlegroup Points Used: 15) - Woldwarden - PC: 14 (Battlegroup Points Used: 13) - Woldwyrd - PC: 9 - Woldwyrd - PC: 9
War Wolf - PC: 2 War Wolf - PC: 2 War Wolf - PC: 2 Swamp Gobber Chef - PC: 1
Warpborn Skinwalkers - Leader & 4 Grunts: 15 - Warpborn Skinwalker Alpha - PC: 0 Wolves of Orboros - Leader & 9 Grunts: 11 - Wolves of Orboros Chieftain & Standard - Chieftain & Standard Bearer: 0 Shifting Stones - Leader & 2 Grunts: 3 Reeves of Orboros - Leader & 9 Grunts: 16 - Reeve of Orboros Chieftain & Standard - Chieftain & Standard: 4
I have a geomancer and an arc node for Mortality as order if activation is problematic otherwise. I have the possibility yo heal skin walkers for 3d3 damage each turn, almost bringing them back to full on average. Then i have some shooting to use Mortality and ambushers to be annoying. Looks kinda ok to me!

Thanks for all of your input guys. I've been list building like crazy and read all of your lists but I'm sad to say that I might abandon the idea of wild hunt. The pool of units and solos is just too small to be interesting in the future, if I would want to vary my choices. I'm leaning towards a very kind tharn list without iona instead. The iona/ravager + free lord of the feast and wolf champion combo seems to be a bit to strong in my meta, even though it would be fun to try once or twice =P
