I can see 2 parts out of four. Haven’t read yet but going away for the weekend: are more out or are we waiting? Where can you see those parts? I wasn't aware any were up, but that might just be me struggling with the new PP website.

Nonsense. We are simply righting the historical wrong forced on us by the no-longer-valid Corvis Treaties. this

So is there a part 3&4 somewhere? Feel like I’m missing a release schedule or something

It's from the old Khador fluff in the Mk2 Core rulebook; I can't comment on its actual accuracy as those sections are obviously one-sided views. But the gist of it is that Khador realised that everyone involved in the signing of the treaties has died without an heir. Since there are no remaining signatories, or descendants thereof, the Treaty is defunct.
Something like that, anyway. I'll type it up for you when I have the book handy.

Can anybody summarize the Acts of War stuff so far this year? I can’t bring myself to go find them and read them, not after the second Acts of War book a couple years ago...

What argument do you have for the treaties being no longer valid? More just curious. From Prime MkII: "Yet after decades had passed, learned men in Korsk brought to light an interesting fact. The families of those first councillors had, for whatever reason, no surviving heirs. Clearly this was a blessing from the gods. Perhaps it was a sign of Menoth's approval of our respect for the written law, for by the wording of the Corvis Treaties, the old agreements no longer had any hold. None who had agreed to those tenets lived, nor did their descendants hold power in the halls of our sovereigns. The lands refused us by those deceitful papers could be ours again without any inherent dishonour." The implication in the timeline is that this happened before 242 AR, which would put it less than 40 years after the treaties were signed

Thanks for digging that up!

Sorry if this thread is dead and I'm taking it into a dark place but...dang this last piece of stormbreak really broke me. I'm a biased Khador fanboy but I think we can all agree that the vaudeville evil that khadors been written into is just bad. The rest of it is fine but all of the sudden I think I hate Irusk? Master tactician looses all the territories his empire had sacrificed to get, blows up a really cool city (Elsinberg with its dope library), and then gets not one not two but three freakin airships! Then he also slaughters his own crew and thinks he can cover this all up by bribing the officers he did save? Like I hope the Empress just says "You've failed me for the last time," and we don't even hear about his execution till someone mentions it causally in passing. Meanwhile all hail saint Stryker the hero we lost too soon. I don't know what to say but that I'm sad. I hope the best for this weird twitter storytelling we're now going to be suckling on, but I miss those faction books a lot. Maybe this whole oblivion might move us all along and we get a fresh start with factions on equal footing but after stormbreak... someone tell me I should be hopeful?

Aeryn did a very poor job of handling established characters. The Irusk in Stormbreak is not even remotely the same character from Apotheosis or any of the proper MK II anthology books. I literally can’t say more than that, or else I will devolve into a rant. It was not good.

rojackso I hadn't read the story yet, only the first part. Would you mind tagging the post for spoilers so others can be spared?
