Ok, so with makeda 3 gaining this spell, lots of podcasts talk about the spell. Most casts i listen to are with ppl fron usa/canada. So far, ALL of them pronounce "incite" wrong. Now, english is not my first language so me complaining about pronounciation is probably like throwing rocks in glass houses ane all that, but in my head (and according to a dictionary) the emphasis should be on the second part of the word. All the podders pronounce it like "insight" with emphasis on both "in" and "cite" but as far as i know, it should be prounounced like "invite" with emphasis on the "cite"-part of the word. www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/inciteIs this an american thing or something?

What about Puissance? It seems to have non French speakers at a loss. Hint... how do you pronounce renaissance?

Pronunciation guide says in-'sit with a marcon over the I which indicates a long pronunciation, which would mean it's pronounced just as they are saying it.
I'm confused where you got the "invite" part, but you're right that the emphasis is on the second part of the word, and that's how I hear people saying it.

If you check the dictionary link, there is an audio file with the pronounciation in there
