Those aren't really very good WoW casters though... I mean even OW2 doesn't like WoW much... Don't know if sarcasm. Old Witch_2 is regarded as one the best Wolves caster by many. He's being serious, he's just never happy with anything.

Hungerford spoiled them in a Facebook post on the WMH General Facebook group.

Sure, they are all wonderful Armoured Corps casters. No doubts. I guess what I'm feeling is that none of them feel like primary Wolves caster choices. Other than S3 they can all play it, but I think thats more a testament to how flexible (and kinda powerful) those 3 casters are... Given they just put what have to be agreed by most as our top 3 casters in the line up, it really wouldn't matter what themes were included. It just seems like they should have picked a PRIMARY Wolves caster for the line up, like S1 and/or Z1. What exactly is your thought on what is a Wolves caster then? I'd echo that question. S1 and Z1 both give delivery to some extent, but the change to Ternion gives all lists delivery potential anyway. S1 gives an accuracy buff, but is there something else I'm missing? Are you thinking that these are casters who really benefit from the damage buff as they don't have a personal one, so the theme selections address some of their weaknesses?
The only caster I'd really put as a primary Wolves caster is Z2, simply because she benefits from a decent number of spell casters in the list.

Vlad2 and OW2 not liking Wolves of winter? I don't get it, they are two of the best casters to run that theme. I actually prefer Vlad2 in Wolves to Vlad2 in armored corps, by a fair margin. With this line up, all the casters can do armored corps, and all but them can do wolves of winter except Sorscha3, so we have a lot of choice.
I still don't get champion though, they want it to be a "restricted format" but with the next line up it doesn't seem very restrictive, most of the power casters and theme are still there. I mean sure let circle keep kruger2 and give them the option to play the same pairing that won warmachine weekend, but hey it's a restricted format. Our ADR gets way better than what it was, but I might still skip out on the champion format out of spite for how badly it is being applied. Don't expect to see any merc win this format with the crappy choice they get this time.

Yeah given the results of the games with them vs the games with other casters its just not a take based on the evidence.

What exactly is your thought on what is a Wolves caster then? They're basically the only casters out there with non spell targeted support for reavers. Irusk1 with battle plans and inhospitable sure, but he's also lord of the beefy upkeeps and battle lust. S1 is pretty damn good. Both Fog and Feat help with delivery, plus auto hitting. Ice Cage and Adjunct help her applying Grip where she wants. There probably isn't really a better theme for her currently... Z1 is also amazing. LoS blocking PLUS DEF 15 Reavers in melee? Combined with a feat that allows for really aggressive positioning? Z2 maybe, depends on how the spell caster models actually end up. There are 3 casters that all support the theme with their whole kit. Unlike Irusk2 who is like, well they are already tough and I don't have any ideal targets for battle lust. Yeah he can still run it, but honestly he can run any list. He's actually kinda OP.

All of those casters were the ones who lost most of their playtest games

Could that be because people are out of practice with those casters? I mean Vlad2 and Irusk2 are the flavour of the year, people are going to be well practiced on them...

Could be that as was pointed out, those casters actually do more for the reavers.

I could probably make an argument for both of these casters in armored corps, the list would tackle pretty different problem but the times I've tried Sorscha1 in armored corps she was great. Both caster help armies a lot and both Wolves of winter and armored corps like that assistance.
