I’m not a big fan of the demo corps, but having a way to freeze something and iron flesh is actually as good as it gets for supporting them. Sure freeze is nice, but battle lust does the same thing but easier. Strakhov 2 does armor and speed buff, speed might be better than damage (cant do any damage if you cant get there) and we all know Vlad2 is their bread and butter. I get the feeling sorscha3 gets more value from shock troopers than the value she brings for demo corps.

I get the feeling sorscha3 gets more value from shock troopers than the value she brings for demo corps. Quite posisbly. But Demo Corps are cheap (especially in min units) with 2" melee. So they are rather handy flank enablers. Just run them where you need them to be. They're not a Drakhun for mobility, but they are pretty much the next best thing in theme for triggering flank (other than Sorscha3 herself).
Shock Troopers don't work so well as fairly flexible flank enablers because shield wall encourages clumping and not charging/running. You have to make some more difficult choices with them.

Hmm, I think I'm going to go rebuild my list from scratch dropping my demo corp and instead using two drakhuns and some kodiaks for a fast alpha strike with flank... it sounds super fun, but I haven't actually done any math on their movement and it's probably too many eggs in one basket =P I was having a think about this, and I'm not 100% sure Drakhuns are necessary. Your Kodiaks/other jacks have a threat range of 8-10" depending on if you use Stoke or not. Every MoW has a run-to-engage of at least 10" except Bombardiers, and it can be 12" with the Kovnik. The fact that you can get a charge off (rather than having to run) with the Drakhun at similar ranges is great, but I'm not sure it's worth the extra points. Unless you mean to really shoot on ahead with just the Kodiaks and the Drakhuns, but you'd be giving your opponent the opportunity to deal with your army piecemeal.

I guess it's nice to be able to have both a Drakhun AND a jack counter-charge something though; the Drakhun goes first and starts the damage train, possibly even knocking it down, then the Jack goes in with Flank to REALLY pile on the pain. Although a charging flanking Kodiak isn't actually doing that much more damage with one attack than a charging Drakhun to be honest, but a Juggernaut on the other hand...

I think the only reason I'm thinking kodiak/drakhun is that they run the same 14" on turn 1 where the juggernaut only gets 12" and has to worry about rough terrain. I'm not sure if that's actually value added over the heavier hit with juggs or just being too concerned about getting those extra inches into the zones. Also, yes, the double counter charge shenanigans are hilarious to me. How likely it actually happens that way remains to be seen, haha!
I think this might be a list to experiment with bombardiers too. The min squad I've been playing around with in a more standard looking list has been pulling its weight quite admirably to be honest.
