Not really sure what you're asking here. Lists or pairings?

I used him with success both in a balanced list (shooty-fighty with Reckoner/Blessing/Redeemer, Idrians, Flamebringers, Kell, Rhoven, Allegiant and stuff)and the jack theme (shooty with Revelator, 2 Reckoners, Blessing, Redeemer). He's just so versatile and his feat is pure craziness. Fits my preferred attrition style play really well.

Thanks for the input. Just asking which particular model/units you find work well with him. So I know what to go and buy

he gives +1 to all attack and damage rolls so the models that are right on the edge are generally the best to pick. You def want his character jack, flamebringers are nice, flameguard cleansers, the covenant is extra convenient for him, Nicia1, Punch Monk, Hierophant, OH and he works exceptionally well with temple flameguard + UA + Pyrrus! Put defender's ward on the temple flameguard and put Pyrrus up front. it makes people cry ^-^

Just asking which particular model/units you find work well with him. So I know what to go and buy I think that the shorter answer will come if you ask what doesn't work with him. He can make Deliverers work (on paper at least, I've not tried it), the Avatar work and can even make Flameguard Cleansers a serious threat. I find that what he doesn't want is anything with SPD 4 that doesn't have a gun or arc-node. He simple has no way to sped them up. But even then, you can get Cinerators to work with him if you want to do so. And that's his greatest strength. Anything you take can work well with him. As an aside, has anyone tried a traditional gunline with him? I've tried out an artillery list (2 Redeemers [each marshalled to a Reclaimer], 2 Sunbursts and 2 Deliverer Arms masters) and found it lacking due to a lack of melee presence.

With Sev1 I find he's our turd polisher and the only thing that is really required with him is Blessing of Vengeance and even then a revenger might do just as well for the necessary arc node. This is all including the usual menoth fixings of course.

The Creator's Might list I mention in my earlier post was very effective attrition-wise (effectively deleting 21ARM heavies at range per turn) but I can see it having problems playing scenario against certain armies as it is quite slow. It is very potent in close combat, however, when the enemy closes to engage. In my experience, though, the balanced list with infantry/cavalry was far more flexible and universal while still projecting a lot of a ranged threat many of my opponents underestimated until they started losing ARM 20 heavies/whole units of cavalry to combined warjack, Kell and Idrian shooting.
