There is a Journeyman league starting up at a local store starting with the battlebox casters and I'm going to be attending representing minions. My choices were Helga and pBarnabus and since I've really no experience with Helga I decided to go with pBarnabus. I've come up with two different paths to take with the league and figured I would toss my ideas up here to get some feedback.
Path 1: pBarnabus weeks 1-3, eBarnabus weeks 4-6 Blindwater
Week 1 Mangled metal 0 pts: pBarnabus, Wrastler, boneswarm, bull snapper. No theme.
-Standard battlebox, use the swamp pit to protect from shooting and slow down non-pathfinder models. Keep up warpath to hopefully get an assassination run.
Week 2 Mangled metal 15 pts: Adds in a spitter, playing 1 point down.
-I've gone back and forth between adding a swamp horror or a spitter, but with the spitter it allows me more flexibility on my next week.
Week 3 Trial By Fire 30 pts: Adds in a full unit of GMP, change to Blindwater Theme.
-Pretty self-explanatory, add in a full unit of fairly hardy med base units.
Week 4 Trial By Fire 45 pts: Swap to eBarnabus, add in bokor and shamblers, spirit cauldron, free soul slave. Have to drop the bull snapper due to WBP decrease.
-Swapping to B2, cauldron to fill boneswarm, b2, bokor, free soul slave for upkeep and spell slave. With this centralized scenario B2 should be able to waltz into the zone with swarm and EoBN and kill anything that gets close.
Week 5 Journey's End 60 pts: add min unit of GMP, second spirit cauldron, free Longchops.
-The spitter and longchops will run up the flanks to shoot the opponent's object, while the rest of the list marches up the center.
Week 6 Journey's End 75 pts: Max out min unit of GMP, husk x2, croak hunter.
-Apart from maxing out the min GMP, I'm not sold on the last 9 points. Double husks can ambush in and head right for the enemy objective. Croak hunter can go solo hunting or run its way to the objective and start beating up on it.
Thoughts on list: Ends up being a B2 lists that I've ran before so there shouldn't be too much of a learning curve.
Path 2: pBarnabus all the way.

-Nyss get death march, kwak for enliven-carapace spitter shenanigans. WWFF theme nets me a free longchops for warpath triggering.
Week 4 Trial By Fire 45 pts: Max Nyss hunters, add in farrow Valks.
-Two units with vengeance to help positioning. Shield guard valks to aid against shooting.
Week 5 Journey's End 60 pts: Add in a swamp horror and a free hutchuk.

-Adding in Ninja pig for another model to pac-man through all the knocked down models. Also adds another gun to trigger warpath.

Thoughts on the list: Getting into WWFF will really help board presence by applying lots of pressure early on. Haven't played many games with pBarnabus but hopefully with the amount of shooting packed into the list I will be able to get some odd angles set up with warpath. Death march on the Nyss just seems like too much fun to pass up.
So those are the two list paths that I'm considering for this journeyman league. Since I don't have much experience with pBarnabus any C&C on the list selections is welcome. I'll post the reports here once it starts!
