Which casters do you usually drop into Hordes/Warmachine? Or do y'all have specific casters you really really want to drop into other specific casters? I basically run under the assumption that Axis is best for Hordes, Mother for Warmachine and Lucant/Syntherion are more situational. Do you guys have more advice on who to drop?

My strategy right now, when figuring out who to drop is a set of layered questions. I'm working with Axis/Lucant as a pairing. Axis with a Galvanizer Swarm and Lucant with Prime Axiom and TEP.
So when I'm looking at my opponent's list and the scenario I ask myself a bunch of questions: 1- Can I win by blocking off scenario? If yes drop Axis. 2- Do I need to worry about Telekinesis or other ways of being pushed/placed? If yes drop Lucant. 3- Does my opponent have a Colossal/Gargantuan (or two or three) that I absolutely need to have removed by brute force in order to win? If yes drop Lucant.
I don't tend to generalize Hordes vs Warmachine. Lucant I tend to drop into Circle and Cygnar. Axis is a generalist drop, mostly, with Lucant's list built to cover the weaknesses.
I'm probably missing some key questions that I need to ask myself. Maybe figuring out what they might be would help me improve my performance.

My current list is Iron Mom/Axis. Iron Mom has an Axiom and triple Assimilator while Axis has a bunch of heavy jacks/galvanizers. My main plan is for Iron Mom to handle most matchups. Then Axis covers her bad matchup which would mainly consist of melee armies that are hard to shoot. So things like Skorne, Protectorate, some Trolls. That way Axis can control them with his feat and bulldoze and go for a scenario/attrition victory.
