I've been concerned about that. Personally, I think they're trying to court Fantasy Flight if anyone. Between the LotFR mini-collab and Monsterpocalypse's revival I think they're trying to showcase that their IPs and internal talent would be a good fit for FFG. That's just speculation though, but if the choice is between PP going under with WMH going with it, or handing the torch off to a larger entity capable of absorbing more risk while possibly securing future jobs for their employees in the process (knowing Matt Wilson's compassion for his employees), I'd choose the latter. I'm not entirely convinced this is the case, but you can never really know looking from the outside in.

Publishing is a pain... I hope they can get around to modernizing their website before they start releasing new content on it. Polishing their online presence would do wonders for their word of mouth sales IMO. I feel the same way. There is sooo much content for PP but the website definitely needs a redesign so people who are new can know what is there.

Don't know if they're trying to sell the company or not but with the game seemingly in decline in most places it seems likely they aren't doing so hot on the profits these days. I think 40K 8th Edition really kicked them in the shorts. Hopefully it lights a fire under their butts and they swing back. This year 40k is the number 1 top selling wargame, Warmachine is 3, and AoS is 5, Legion is 4. X-Wing and Armada didn't even make the list. So ya, 40k 8th hype took the lions share (even from AoS, GWs own line) but Warmachine has stayed on the top 5 for awhile now and not being removed from the list with the release of 8th shows the line is very resilient. I see a lot of 8th hype settling down as many of the hype players get shed leaving a stable core. Moving forward Warmachine will be okay but as a small privately owned business reducing waste and overhead is always important. More so than from that of a public ally traded one. icv2.com/articles/markets/view/41010/top-5-non-collectible-miniature-games-spring-2018

Unfortunately there isn't always a corollary between those two things at smaller privately owned businesses. I remain hopeful that I'm wrong.

True, all you can do is sell the product, once you sell the stuff the profitable is all internal processes based. Which we don't know for any of these businesses.
