So I glued the arms of a Triumph on incorrectly. (Gun and shield are switched) Can you play with it like that or does it need to be fixed?

You're not being very fair to your opponent that way since it can create confusion about which systems are crippled or which columns he needs to target in order to cripple the desired system. Plus it won't be tournament legal, if that's something that you care about. So I would strongly suggest fixing it.
One way to dismantle superglued parts is to put the model in the freezer for a few hours: this makes the superglue brittle and easier to break.

This is silly, the data for systems is tracked on the card/war room not on the physical model, there’s nothing in the tourney sheet about this nor would I say it’s “not fair” to opponent. As no one is looking at physical model to determine this.

Since the Ironclad chassis is the only "left-handed" warjack type that I know of, I have to look at the model all the time to remind myself that the left arm is (usually) the important one.
I'm curious how you glued it on backwards though. Doesn't the arm-notch in Triumph's shield only make sense on the right arm?

I was able to glue the shield on a bit of fiddling around then noticed a few days later after I finished that it was all wrong and probably why it was so difficult in the first place. I'm in the process of fixing the whole thing now.

You could play normaly without telling a soul. BUT If someone ever has the ability to choose where to land attack, you must tell them that they need to tell you which weapon they wish to damage. If they say, "right arm" ask, you want to break the shield or the gun, I glued them wrong. That would be just ok
