I'm hoping to get some fine points on how to set up Haley 3's first and second turn in Gravediggers. 1. Can anyone direct me to some pictures or a video of some Haley 3 Gravedigger openings? 2. I'm really missing how Jarle's blog would explain why he was lining up each piece where. There was a helpful post ( here) on the Cygnar Facebook group that suggested Ragman should always be right behind the Trencher Infantry. Do you have any other thoughts on constraints that dictate how the jumble behind the cloudwall is stacked up? 3. I'm having trouble conceptualizing how the commandos or long gunners operate in conjunction with the cloudwall. I was reading a battle report from Avatar of Slaughter ( here) where he played against Jake Wilstrop. Mr. Slaughter noted that Jake flanked his Long Gunners wide, and I didn't understand what was happening there or why that would be a thing. It seemed like flanking Long Gunners would be subject to the 18" Windstorm no matter how hard they flanked.

It seemed like flanking Long Gunners would be subject to the 18" Windstorm no matter how hard they flanked. I am currently playing a Haley3 list which is quite streamlined compared to previous versions: Major Prime Victoria Haley - WJ: +25 - Haley Past - Haley Future - Ironclad - PC: 12 (Battlegroup Points Used: 12) - Thorn - PC: 13 (Battlegroup Points Used: 13) Trencher Blockhouse - PC: 10 Patrol Dog - PC: 2 Commander Anson Hitch - PC: 4 Captain Maxwell Finn - PC: 0 Trench Buster - PC: 0 Trench Buster - PC: 0 Ragman - PC: 4 Trencher Infantry - Leader & 9 Grunts: 16 - Trencher Infantry Officer & Sniper - Officer & Sniper: 5 - Trencher Infantry Rifle Grenadier - PC: 2 Trencher Long Gunners - Leader & 9 Grunts: 18 - Trencher Long Gunner Officer - PC: 4 Alexia Ciannor & the Risen - Alexia & 9 Risen Grunts: 10 - Thrall WarriorThe advantage of this list, from my perspective, is exactly that it is so streamlined. Previously, the amount of knives being juggled in a Haley3 list in any given turn was massive. Putting in the Blockhouse and pAlexia simplifies matters a lot. Each turn, I am deciding "what and how do I shoot with my Long Gunners," as well as "are my Trencher Infantry going to Charge, Cautious Advance, or Cloud this turn". Having Anson Hitch in the list makes matters much easier, because with Tactician you can move Trencher Models through other Trencher models (including the Blockhouse). My 3 primary concerns when deploying are: 1) Put the Blockhouse and its trenches in a good place to support the Long Gunners, Alexia, and Haley Prime (trenches to sit in all game when appropriate) and revive Trencher grunts. 2) Position Alexia so that she can run forward into a trench turn 1. 3) Position the Long Gunners so that they can run into a favorable position to sit and aim from all game. Everything else is more or less flexible. If you message me, I'll send you a picture of deployment and turn 1 for a recent game (not quite sure how to embed pictures in a post here without hosting it somewhere else).

Juris your post made me want to buy Haley 3 and play your list. I like your approach to playing her.

I was wondering why no one runs Sylyss(sp?) with Haley3? Is there just too many other solos that people feel are autoinclude?
