Like a lot of the people in this subforum, I do a lot of conversion work in my armies. One thing I've taken to doing is adding Extreme Juggernaut leg parts to almost all my warjack projects, sometimes with the pelvis/waist bit, sometimes not. Of course it works best if you play Khador, but with some effort they can be made to work on other warjacks.
Now, I'm not the best painter but the idea here is to share what I think is a tip to get better looking, better proportioned warjacks on the table. So, here are my examples that maybe can serve as inspiration for others in the community:
Stock plastic juggernaut included for purposes of scale.
-Black Ivan just has a new head and a slightly modified gun barrel, and Extreme legs attached to the stock plastic pelvis -Beast 09 is un-modified aside from the Extreme leg/pelvis swap
-Kodiak is kind of a Frankenstein's monster, but the Extreme legs give it an imposing stature at least.

And here's a WIP Marauder, this is the old goofy-looking Mk.1 all-metal marauder. A simple Extreme leg/pelvis swap really makes it presentable.
And for those of you who don't just build Khador, it took extra work on the knee guards and some cutting/drilling on the feet, but these legs are quite serviceable for some Cygnar projects:
^this Centurion has parts from five different warjacks, the result of a long-time desire to have a Cent. proportioned something like the original art. Without those Extreme legs though, I doubt I would even have attempted the rest.

Very interesting. I think I like the Marauder the most.

Much better proportions. Still a bit squat looking as the torsos are not really "tall" enough. But I like it much more than the standard.

I also think the Marauder looks best somehow. Not sure why!

Probably because it hasn't been painted yet!

Where are you getting all of the Extreme legs? Just buying tons of Extreme kits?

Privateer Press sells bits via their webstore. Whenever I get the idea of buying a head for a conversion, or a weapon, or a PP exclusive I use the opportunity to grab the Extreme bits for later use. $15+ depending on if ya get the armor flaps for the thighs and waist.

The parts section of the PP store is the best and least used hobby element the company provides. I am getting together a big order myself for a slew of conversions. I like what I see in this thread though, keep up the good work.
