I agree, I think that you can do fine without huge bases. However, I would recommend getting a Vulcan. Just the one huge base. It's very good, you'll enjoy playing it, and it increases the power level of the faction considerably. I've been hearing so much about how powerful it is, do you think there's any chance PP might nerf it? Maybe it's worth waiting a bit and picking it up later if it looks like it is indeed here to stay?

I don't think any Crucible stuff will be nerfed, PP stated they want them to be powerful as a limited faction, so that they will continue to be relevant years down the line

I guess the idea is that if they're a little ahead of the curve right now it's fine because other factions will basically catch up over time?
