Hi all, I'll have to play against some Grymkin for my first time tomorrow and I don't know how to deal with them. From what i gather, shooting doesn't work really good into them and I don't know much more. Is GD good into them? I have these lists ready. | Cygnar Army - 75 / 75 points

I'm also tempted by Kraye SoTT 4 cents, but I really don't know what could work good against them.

You need some specefic tools to do ok. Like anti stealt and magic weapons. So a gravedigger list is ok with dog and ayiana and holt.
Other than it depends a little on their list. If it is dud spam or the brick with beasts.
I have done good into them with the commen H3 gravedigger list with dog, ayiana/holt and ragman.
I have also done ok with siege 2 in a more meele GD lists, but the same tools. And a H2 SoT list.
The 2 specefic things to be aware of.
1) you need a plan for taking out gremling swarms or you are strugling with scenario play
2) you need to know and be aware through your turn about their arcanas. They can otherwise be a big gotcha which ruin your turn.
I carefully read the arcanas before we start and usually check them again in my turn if unshure. I have seen non-grymkin players who have printed out the arcana cards themeselves and take out the chosen ones and have on their side of the table.

I think i am more confindent with siege2, I've got anti stealth and magic weapons for days+damage buffs of all kinds if they brick up. Yeah H3 def bubble would have been great, but I don't have A&H there.

I am spesh and played Stryker 3 Gravediggers for a while, you need Aiyana & Holt for sure, but Commandoes were so versatile, with magic sprays they can easily clear Gremlin Swarms and Crabbits. And with Fury + Feat + Minifeat they can take down heavies as well.

I suppose I can do something similar with Siege2, i've got a bit less damage when i'm not on feat turn but boy do I have Threat Range for days+good support spells.

Most importantly, that formatting though. I've never seen lists presented so cleanly, good on you.
Read all of grymkins cards and figure out what you need. GD is good, and as been said commandos are great. They also help against piggy backs which can be a nightmare to try to crack. I like to try to deny too many corpse collections early on so practice your deployments with your lists so you aren't giving the alpha

I used a similar H3 Gravediggers into Grymkin of both dudes and beast heavy flavors, no major issues. Take Cain's advice super serious, plan your turn around the Arcana and you are good to go, focus fire when he has Sacrifice still, be ready if they have the "super stealth for my army" one still. if you figure out when he will most likely want to pop an Arcana and plan ahead of that, Grymkin become pretty easy.

Probably my siege2 list can cover both dudespam and bricks thanks to its damage potential, so I'll go with him. First time trying siege out!

Seige 2 is a ton of fun and there is a lot of discussion on him in these forums, I'd definitely do some digging in them. I don't have any experience with h3 unfortunately.
