So, at risk of disappointing myself theres one model concept people have discussed as a possibility for either this Christmas or a future christmas or eventual releaae - a third heavy.
Theres quite a reasonable logic to it - grymkin originally had 3 heavies because the rattler was originally a heavy and PP changed it to a light. Three heavies could really spice up list building
What kind of beast would you like to see if there was to be a third heavy?

I am DYING for a ranged heavy. I really want to run a gunline in Grymkin, but past experience has shown that hollowmen+frightmares simply aren't enough.

Super looking forward to it. Adding a heavy will certainly shake up list building in this faction. worried about "utility" as a descriptor. I'd love for it to be just a ranged attack monster.

So the clockatrice has gone under playtesting in the new CID. Are are your thoughts?

Currently it is slightly more useful than running a beast up as a road bump. However it's still pretty easy to kill off. Seems a lot of points for a mild order of activation problem for a single turn

Currently it is slightly more useful than running a beast up as a road bump. However it's still pretty easy to kill off. Seems a lot of points for a mild order of activation problem for a single turn So my impression, and this is with absolutely no playtesting or reading of playtesting reports, is that running it up as a speed bump is NOT how it will be successfully used. I think all the time stutter/animus stuff are gimmicks that will come up once in a blue moon. Rather, I'm excited that it is a fast heavy with flight and a spray with paralysis. This, to me, makes it a mix of a Rattler and a Glimmer Imp, and that is interesting. It can deal with swarms of infantry like the Rattler, with less damage potential (one spray will NEVER wipe out a 10 man unit+), but far easier to apply. Also like a Rattler, it can put damage on a heavy, but will likely need help to do more than scratches. It can debuff DEF, not as easily as the Glimmer Imp (has to hit, vs "I see you!") but with a much greater drop in DEF. Now, I don't know for sure if it'll replace either one, or both, in any lists. I think a Child DM list will take 1-2. I think the Dreamer will stay away from this like the plague. The other casters, idk.

Child can run 7 clockatrice with a death knell. Feels like it could do stuff. With Labyrinth the animus is really strong. I mean, SPD0 Khador is a thing.
I'll probably run one or two in my Bump list for starters.

I mean, they're ARM20 in the death knell aura. It could be SO annoying to remove for the opponent. Also 7 sprays for those pesky infantry hordes. I'll probably try and play it in a tournament
