Warder can't be the client of another warder Yeah this was my initial thought to . . . until I saw that slight little issue.

It just seemed like they couldn’t have the same client. But to bring in another combo. 2 monks. 2 warders. Harbinger. Def22 vs living melee and martyrdom. Ultimate denial!

Might be worth it to go out of theme just to see the look on opponent's faces. Toss in ashen veil from a reclaimer just for fun to get it up to Def 24.

I am not sure how good (or bad ) it might be, but I would love to run a Reznik 2 list with the Shrine.
His feat turn would be hilarious. Shoot and box something with Shrine, additional spray 6 off of it, each model killed them blows up in an additional 4" POW 14 AOE, the Reload, and do it again

Unless you take a Champ I don’t think warder +monk is worth it, because it exposes the monk to blasts and other things that threaten it, while only giving +2 Def in Melee. All the other bodyguard buffs are redundant.
Not to mention at that point you are out of theme :/
Now warders partnered with Knights E Sennys could be hilarious. Throw in Gravus for extra Luls. The Senny’s are 14/17 when angry anyway.

3” is larger than a 5” blast aoe. So it’s not like the warden is a danger to the monk. And missed aoe attacks still get to hit the monk before he walks away. And the warder isn’t exactly easy to kill.

Well that was already an issue with Monks.
