I finally got to play the Kromac 2 bullshit list! Unfortunately it was to an incredibly unintended match up, and the game wasnt super informative, but still, ill write a report.
Kromac 2 DH vs Haley 1 SotT
So im up against an incredibly skewed list and it is one that i think is pretty bad for me, but we both had brought just one list each that we wanted to try, so then things like this happen.

Terrain, Scenario and Deployment
We are playing Standoff and the terrain is marked in the pic below. My opponent wins the roll and chooses to go first (duh!?)
He deploys ATGMs on each flank with Blazers in the middle (which was strange to me). Avenger is slightly to the west and Thorn slightly to the east. Solos ate spread out among his forces.
I am hoping that the Wall will be useful to hide behind and i place one unit on each flank with beasts in between. Im hoping that Ghetorix can hold down the left zone, and that i might be able to score it at some point, should any tharn survive to clear it out. B&C are slightly to the east, and they put Prey on Thorn. It felt like they did not really need that rule to kill anything in his army, but Thorn is always a thorn in my side *snicker*.
Turn 1 (both)
He runs forward, and he can be pretty aggressive since i have such shitty ranged presence compared to him. Avenger had to go around the obstruction, which combined with his SPD 4 means he is pretty far back. That dude is super dangerous as he could knock down a beast or even Kromac at range pretty trivially and the popguns will kill it.
I cant stay outside threat ranges obviously, but i stay outside the Avengers Threat with the Pureblood and Ghetorix (with Spiny), who are behind the wall. Kromac moves behind them and feats defensively. I wont need the +2 STR and next turn is going to be a bad one im guessing, so +2 ARM it is! I put up Awaken spirit on the pureblood for no reason and Vengeful on Ghetorix. I camp 3 rather than camping 2 with Spiny, which is probably a mistake. The Ravagers all move up to threaten the entire zone. Im hoping that like one of each unit survives so that he can eat all the gunmages. The west chieftain stays back as far as possible while the east one takes advantage of the obstruction for protection. Lanyssa moves up behind my wall, and i promptly forget about the Avenger and run the stalker way too close for no reason. B&C press forward. B assaults a Captain Adept and kill it, while C runs in to the forest and engage 3 Blazers.
Cygnar turn 2
Thorn gets fully loaded and walks up killing both B and C . He knocks down the Stalker with the Avenger and then feats and shoot it down easily. The west Gunmages charge in against the Ravagers and really go to town on them, easily killing every one except the Chieftain. On the east, the Gunmages charge in and kill some Ravagers, and the Blazers also help, but he actually leaves one Ravager and the Chieftain alive. He might have put some chip damage against the remaining heavies but i cant remember.
Circle turn 2
So much of my stuff is gone, but now it is MY turn! Vengeance gets the west Chieftain in range. Kromac backs up from the wall to be safe from the Avenger. He gets Carnage out and camps 3 (should have been 2 + SG again i think...) The west Chieftain kills all the gunmages by himself and takes up residence in the forest. Ghetorix charges in Warping STR for no reason, should have been murderous...) and kills two Blazers. I overtake, but for some reason i do not go in to his zone. He has SG up though, so that is nice. The Pureblood assaults a Blazer and kills it, Bastian Falk and puts a bunch of damage in to the objective. On the east flank i kill a bunch of ATGM with the ravagers, but they cant reach all of them.
We both score our zones, so 1-1.
Cygnar turn 3
He kills the Pureblood and engages Ghetorix with the Avenger. He kills the ravager on the east, but not the Chieftain. He pokes Ghetorix a bit with B13, but he doesnt mind much. For some reason i can not remember, Haley stays in the north west corner of the square zone. He also failed to kill the west Chieftain in the forest since he didnt charge and 8 boxes really matters against popguns.
He contests me with Blazers and scores his zone, so 3-1 to Cygnar...

Circle turn 3
...that does not matter much though. Ghetorix can easily charge Haley. Kromac charges the B13 and dispatch them, casting Carnage and healing Ghetorix for 4. Ghetorix accepts the free strike from the Avenger (doesnt cripple him, and he would have healed even if it had), warps Murderous and kills Haley with initial attacks.
Post game analysis
Cant really say anything here tbh. I would love to play this list in to more of an ARM skew since that is what i have built it for. He could have played Haley much safer (the -2 SPD in command actually mattered since Ghetorix was so close) but if he does Ghetorix still dispatches the Avenger and contests both zones forever and i think that i can manage to grind him down after that. His feat turn hurt though, that is for sure.
Im organizing a small SR event this week end, and i wont be playing tharn as i do not own all needed models yet. After that it will be back to Kromac 2 one more time i think though. I think it can be quite fun!
