Gaston, those all make sense. I try to assume that average dude are about half a pup less than true average so I am not disappointed so often, so planning overkill makes sense to me. I was a bit worried that people would think that they needed to be prepared to kill that on a regular basis, which seems unlikely.
I don't think I've played against Midas, so my work is all head machine, which is probably even worse than theory machine. That feat is fascinating in it's implications, and that one (throwing away battlegroup to protect infantry) is one that I had not come up with yet. Midas plays an entirely different game from other warlocks, doesn't he?

Hello all! Newish pig player here, ended up playing today against a Madrak1 list with 2 units of champions, fell callers, glacier king, along with other stuff I didn’t know. As pigs, do we have anything that gets through the mass of troll bodies when they are no knockdown, tough and defence 16? I tried out some Carver with the meat thresher as I thought the knockdown would help against the tough, but Madrak has a spell that eliminates that. I know Malock with all the posse may work well with snacking but I don’t have those models. I was thinking maybe Arkadius but don’t know how to get around all the bodies for an assasination. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help! Just FYI, since no one mentioned it; Snacking does not bypass tough. Snacking removes from play on Boxed. Tough occurs at Disabled. The order of destruction is Disabled -> Boxed -> Destroyed.

One final thing- grevious wounds is good because it ignores tough, but doesn’t get around sanguine bond, as there is no damage removal element. As far as I know, nothing in the game gets around sanguine bond. Anything that doesn’t count as an attack gets around sanguine Bond. Such as electro Leaps.

Ah, good point, I was only thinking about rules that remove healing and things like that. Collateral damage from slams is a good way of dealing with them too, since they’re often all base to base.
