Here's the thing. To get ANY degree in a scientific field, any degree at all, you have to push your way through at least one, if not multiple upper division science courses.
As an example, a bachelors in chemistry, just a 4 year degree, requires 3 years of 200 level calculus and a statistics course, a year of 200+ level physics, and another year of 400 level biology, geology or chemistry.
A business degree requires a handful of carefully pruned 200 level math courses, and approximately 15 credits of 1-200 level science.
A political science degree requires algebra 2 and 15 credits of 1-200 level science
So while neither are SPECIALISTS in climatology. One has at the minimum a science background to actually understand the information presented, and the other degrees have high school students doing their science and math requirements.
There's no equivalence in the value of their takes whatsoever.

Stop getting your information from alex jones dude, its not a good look. Who? I get my information from numerous sources rather than just those funded by the fear-mongers of Gore and Company. You've made many poor assumptions here, I'm afraid.
I was mainly pointing out that Trump is as believable on climate change as 4chan is on warmachine. Not a great analogy. Id only point out that some people would deny climate change, some people would support trump, some people would anonymously complain the game is dying. Their biases are very important. In that case it's somewhat accurate. The only problem is that some seen NdGT as an climatology expert (which he isn't), and no one would consider the Trump Team as one. They both have biases in place, the Trump Team's just happens to be obvious. That was my issue with the comparison. Unfortunately, on a forum a bias can only be found if it stated outright or by consistent checking of what they have posted before. It’s cool. I personally see warmachine stabilizing into a consisten group of guys. There were several times more players in Mk2, but for reasons stated I’m not sure if shedding some players isn’t offset elsewhere in the business model.

My area balkanized because well, we had too many negative influences showing up at open game night plus the PG quit. There's about he same number of people playing but rather than pick up games at the store or a standard meeting night its garage games and direct text/phone calls to set up on match.

This seems to be acurate for my meta as well. we seem to have stabilized to 4 guys who play regulary and one who drops by semi regulary.
Around the end of mk2 we were around 8 people playing regulary.
So for a time it felt like the game was dying around here. Now it seems like we just slimed down. We branched out to meet people from other citys. Create carpools to visit places father away.
Still sad that we lost some people that we had knon for some time now. And the veterans are missed for the great advice they could give. But the doom and gloom phase seems to be over for us

Actually there is when both are making statements because they are paid to, and it is only obvious with one side is (Trump Team) and not being considered a factor for the other (NdGT).
NdGT is a talking head with a doctorate's in astrophysics, when it comes to climate change and theology, that's it. Sure there are some disciplines within astrophysics that can transfer over, but that hardly makes one an authority in a another discipline, especially when they are only reading what another person wrote (and we kind of don't know who that person is and why they wrote it). And it is a bad thing to consider someone the expert when they simply are not. In this area, NdGT is as much an expert as he is in WMH. Sure, he can probably woop my arse in Chess, but I doubt he'd do so well against my Mercs or Skorne.
The Trump Team offers numerous people who potentially have degrees in numerous fields with the leader having earned a degree from the school of hard knocks. But like NdGT, they are simply talking heads who are reading what another person wrote. They just happen to believe someone else is all, and because they aren't coming across as an expert they aren't in, we know they are being paid to say it. That's the difference.

This topic has gone widely off topic, from Trump to forum wars on 4chan. People are doing more name calling than anything else, and some are even spitting on the plate from where they are eating (this forum).
I think this is time to put an end to this.
Have a nice day.
