Hey San, you should use a Brown Primer for Reds, something similar to Burnt Umber, helps with shading

Are you using P3 red? After using it once I've sworn off everything else. Yes. doing it right you still need 4-5 coats if you properly thin it to get good coverage over black primer. Here's an idea. Prime white. Use washes. Also, USE AN AIRBRUSH! You're welcome. =)

Well I finally finished the iron fang uhlans that have been on my table for over a year so for the rest of July... getting my theme box assembled and primed sounds like a realistic goal.
