The official chosen rules are available now. No last minute nerfs after the CID

On more than one occation we've had PP defend their current state, so hopefully that's a sign that they accept the salt they'll generate and still think they should stay as they are. Same deal with Hellmouths.

<CID week 1 stats revealed> "It won't make it through CID with those stats" <Model gets buffed> "Just testing, it won't make it to live" <Same stats go live> "They'll nerf that in a dynamic update"
Have people considered that PP has no intention of ever nerfing the Chosen?

It will all depend on whether they start dominating tournaments. In theory I think they are good where they are.
I didn’t participate in the CID, what lists have people tried? I am most interested in using them with Vayl 1 or Saeryn 1.

Given how long it takes for PP to nerf problematic factions in the tournament circuit, we can probably safely expect that we'd have to be dominating the meta in a big way for the next 2 years for PP to actually change it.

Models do not have to dominate the tournament scene to be above the curve, which chosen obviously are.
Not as extreme as derp turtles, but still probably going to be one of the better cav units in the game. Compare them to other cav and it becomes pretty obvious (muwahaha debate sparked)
Anyway, I wonder why it took them so darn long to release them.

Hopefully it took so long because they were doing in-depth testing.

Direct comparisons are hardly ever worthwhile when making these claims. There's a whole faction surrounding any given unit which add or take away from any choice's worth. It's that bottomline that counts when talking about balance.

I was mostly just saying that to troll. Its not like we will have any more of a productive discussion than we have had in the past Lanz...damn you got me there
