Themes that seem like they really want a release cycle+CID: Minions: Thornfall Alliance Mercs: Rhulic first and foremost; additional releases for Llaelese, a Morrowan theme, possibly Steelhead (purist) as well. Khador: Wolves of winter Trolls: Kriel Company There's plenty of stuff that wants touchups (ie fixing stormguard and advance move, getting cryx to consider IM) that probably doesn't take a full cycle, but the above list seems like the highest priority in my mind ...Secret Masters. Thornfall MIGHT be worse, but SM is high on the list of 'really, really bad themes'. Fair enough, Circle and Grymkin are the only factions I don't own and can't really speak to

It's been at least 4 months since Cryx or Cygnar have had some CiD love, and honestly that cannot continue, so there'll probably be a quick joint Cryx / Cygnar CiD that pushes back Tharns and buffs Denny and Haley. It's just the way things go.

I'm busy painting Skarre3 as we speak, and I fully expect her to have armor-piercing cannons or something similar in 3 months time because she clearly isn't busted enough right now

Totally in for a Rhulic CID, including some new models. I actually hope for it NEXT year, though, since the Man-o-War CID is going to consume the contents of my wallet and my hobby time for the next several months. - Epic Gorten (finally) - A multi-kit Driller chassis with new variant - A Character Driller (!) - An AoE Gun bunny maybe - Attachments for OAC and Forgeguard - Yep, bumps for TAC and Highshields (why didn't Rockbottom's coins ever work for the latter?) - Some entirely new stuff!! On Rockbottom: He is a traitor to Rhul. He has been exiled. That is why he lost the Rhul tag going into MKIII and his coins never worked on Rhulic models. Epic Goten is long overdue. An AOE Gun Bunny just finished out the trend, but the Basher could fall into that category too. The OAC, TAC and Highshields all need love. The idea that was floated around on an OAC attachment that gives them the different ammo types from the RPG would be awesome!

On Rockbottom's coins and exile from Rhul: Looks like a case of fluff becoming rules (no support for fellow Rhulics, at least back in Mk II when he was Rhulic)... even when it went against the obvious help his coins would have offered the struggling Highshields on the tabletop.

- Yep, bumps for TAC and Highshields (why didn't Rockbottom's coins ever work for the latter?) Because Rockbottom is part of the Pirate subfaction, not the Rhulic subfaction. In MkIII, they dropped the Rhulic tag from him.

In MkIII, they dropped the Rhulic tag from him. Yep, I do understand. When he WAS Rhulic, still no help, even when the HS so badly needed him. He's just meant to be a pirate. (Which I'm much less enthusiastic about.)

Anyway, I thought it was obvious that first rounds of CID were probably the things they had already that were left out of the command books.

Why didn't Rockbottom's coins ever work [highshields] Because Rockbottom is a traitor to the Rhulic people. Edit: Note to self: Read the whole thread before commenting.

Destors are unlikely. Dawnguard CID is....sometime in the relatively near future. I'm not expecting it, but I would not be surprised if there was a small tweak to Destors and the Thane in terms of points or buffing something by 1 (looking at ARM as the only viable thing, in all fairness). Materially, what's the point/intent behind the Dawnguard Scyir ability/drive flip? And let's not forget the House Shyeel changes, apparently the Artificer is going to be available in Legions plus the changes to HSBM getting SD instead of FB. And referring to the HSA, there is going to be a shuffle for model inclusion in themes. Regarding casters, I don't expect anyone to get a rework as that is quite an intensive process. Maybe shifting a rule/ability hear or there, but little more. Personally, what I expect in terms of changes to models is... actually nothing... besides what we already 'know', that is. Most of what I expect is theme related. I'll reiterate that this is supposedly a mini-CID, and if there are too many things to playtest for, and they will need to be playtested for with all the intensity as previous CID cycles, the time required for them will have the player base wondering why it was considered a 'mini'-CID in the first place... since we're seeing changes to all four themes. And if they are genuinely minor changes that don't require as much playtesting and feedback, why bother at all with them, just playtest internally and errata(?) Consequently, I fully expect minimal to non-existent changes to the vast majority of what will be involved and only significant changes to, ostensibly, one theme (Shadows or Forges, Defenders doesn't 'need' tweaking, and everyone and their dog knows Ret's first proper CID cycle will be Legions), while the remaining three will see changes that will have Ret players reacting with anything between 'meh', through '*sigh* expected that' and 'neat, but it's not great'. Individual models subject to the CID will, for the most part, see points changes, a few may see stat changes (the one I hope for is Shyeel lights going to DEF 13, but eh, that appears to be a minority desire), while only a couple will have actual rules changes for bashing player heads. On top of the HSA/HSBM teaser from Shick (but this was related more to theme changes than those models' NEED to change), RAT 6 to be standard for Myrmidons would be nice, but I think that should be a modest hope rather than an expectation, given how they've functioned with RAT 5 since release. I'd like the MHSF CA to get something, but don't expect it. I'd like the Swordsmen to get something, but again don't expect them to because they're perfectly functional as they are (just crap next to Sentinels/Halbs... points drop most likely, stat boost at best). Houseguard Riflemen need something to see more competitive play, but they're fated to be the black sheep of the faction, I think, given the gunline hate that's prevalent, so they'll sulk like Long-gunner Infantry. Eh... /salt

It wouldn't surprise me if Ret got "something". Caster, character jack, solo, something. Though I suppose a functional Rayvn and Cavalry IS something. Or, lolz, clearly a new BAHI exclusive, Dawnguard Battlengine! Just wanted to say 'well done' on calling that so precisely!
