I guess if I literally had to trade buffs to our beasts for nerfs to the turtle I may take them but I am convinced the turtles power has nothing to do with our bests power. But then again I believe pp when they said at lock and load they were not going to look at it so clearly I am already on thin ice

What I mean is that I'm totally fine bringing the turtle back down to the pack of BE's (cause right now it's far and away the best) if/once our heavy beasts can carry the load. Right now the SA is a crutch as in we need it to get around. I have no problem with it's power level currently because currently we need it right where it is.

In general the Skorne base is ok with getting the SA toned down, as long as our beasts come back into line. KD to crit KD, gun back down to 10", speed to 7"... That sort of thing. Would you consider giving up Trample instead of the range on the gun? As a non-Skorne player, I get the feeling that the Trample only serves as a threat extension and it already has plenty of anti-infantry capability between Dual Attack, Independent Attacks, Impact Attacks at 1" and being able to buy attacks. I don't really understand why it needed Trample in the first place if it's a cavalry model, so impacts, boosted (auto-knockdown) charge attack and reposition 3, anyway.

I used to feel bad about the turtle, but every time I see the results of a new CiD, I feel better.

I won't cry about it. I rarely trample over things, but the threat that I can is moderately important

But I don't have a turtle Lol, you KNOW I sympathize with you, but you DO have Primal Terrors + Anamag... Granted I don't want to play her either but at least the option is there.

Compare the Turtle to the MoW chariots, there is just no contest. I don't mind kickass BE's, even though the Turtle is a bit much, I just don't get why action A gets something bonkers, faction B gets something reasonable and C is bonkers again :v
All for roughly the same point cost.

As a Khador player I'm obviously going to be at least partially biased, but I think PP has missed the mark with every Khador CiD: - Battle Engines: They had their own idea in their head of what they wanted, didn't really listen to feedback/suggestions.
- Christmas 2017: Worse than before, but again they had an idea and weren't interested in feedback. Numerous comments of yet more overlap in iron fang solo/unit interactions, but PP had no interest in doing anything. Though they added extra models to the CiD for other factions.
- Junior Casters: Not a single change made to Sorscha0. The most annoying bit for me is them saying the simple change of giving her a handcannon (so she could shoot something outside her own Fog of War bubble) was dismissed because the art/model was too far along. Find out a month or so later that the model hasn't even been started.
- Man o Wars: The constant feedback that the decimator is not worth taking was ignored and all suggested fixes weren't even tried. Things like Granted: Vengeance were highlighted as an issue from the beginning and again it felt like they weren't interested in feedback. Ended up with a caster who has her own thread where people celebrate managing to actually get her to work.
In all Khador CiDs they've made minor tweaks at most, but have generally never really tried anything beyond their original plan. While at least in other CiDs it feels like they'll try something really powerful and dial it back, it feels like they don't even want to try with Khador. I'm keeping fingers crossed the Wolves of Winter CiD that's meant to be not that far away is good, but I'm sadly not really expecting much. [/rant] Cheers, Dave

Its how all the Khador CIDs felt. I just would like them to be more open with the Khador stuff just like the other factions. Now I am not saying this to get stupidly powerful stuff because that is not helpful I just want them to listen to the Khador players like they listen to every other factions players.

[ If you look at the Discount Games tournament results page you would see that Khador is one of the best performing factions, including themes such as Armoured Corps that have been through CID. Khador has also got some very powerful models from CID. How the tankers were allowed to come out with all their strength I will never understand. The fact that there are already several tournament top 3 lists on the Diiscount Games site with multiple tankers highlights their value.

At least we didn't end up with the Week One Suppression Tanker, which Soles (initially) strongly defended as a perfectly balanced model.
