Man, those look awesome. I played SoB/Witch Hunters through much of my 40K tenure, and dreamed of having plastics available. Alas, I've moved out of 40K, but I'm glad these are finally coming, nonetheless.

Alas, I've moved out of 40K, but I'm glad these are finally coming, nonetheless. I hope the rules are better than the last time I checked. When I got into the game in 5th ed they were still on 4th ed rules, which were strange but flavourful, with Faith (I think it was) as a resource you had to build for and manage, but that was versatile and could be burnt all in one go for some fun plays. Then they put out new rules that took all the flavour away and just gave each unit a specific (usually very small) ability that they can just roll for once each turn without cost. The only thing left that was interesting about the army was Celestine's ability to keep coming back from the dead, but eventually that was nerfed too. This was a few years ago, with the rules released in White Dwarf. They released a new rulebook that was download-only, which I passed on because it was too pricey at a time when I was broke and switching to Warmachine and dissatisfied with GW as a whole and not happy with digital-only products for the same price as actual physical ones (yeahyeah I'm a dinosaur). No idea how they play now (nor the game as a whole for that matter).

I'm surprised there is not a flying gothic pig hovering on her base.
Never thought they would do this. This will make a lot of folks happy

Yeah, the last version of 40K I played involved the Faith mechanic, and when they switched, I was on my way out of the GW games, so I didn't really notice...

Dang, she's pretty. I have a friend who would have died for these a decade or more ago. Now he doesn't even care.

No idea how they play now (nor the game as a whole for that matter). They changed again. The whole army has access to the same 4 now, which are: One unit may either a) move as if it was the move phase, b) shoot as if it was the shooting phase, c) fight as if it was the melee phase, or d) resurrect/heal a model. The kicker is they're super limited now. Doesn't matter how big your army is, you get one on a 2+. That's it. Unless you have Saint Celestine, who gives you an extra to a unit within 6, or take Imagifiers, who are now 40 points each, take up an Elite slot, and still only work on a 4+. I really miss the 4th ed system. But hooray! Plastic gun-nuns. The models look lovely. I'll certainly get a squad or two to round out my army.

I'm not sure it's an improvement on the last system I knew; and if it's only one unit then why do they have to roll at all? Definitely less flavourful than 4th ed.
You've got me thinking: I wonder if SOB models could proxy anything in Warmahordes? The only "knight" unit I can think of with guns (well, crossbows) are Exemplar Errants; but I guess if you're willing to do some work on them you could probably justify running them as Sword Knights or Precursors. Of course no-one will because no-one really does that sort of thing in Warmahordes (at least none that I've seen in a while).

It's once per turn at the beginning of the Movement Phase. Or it might be just before the start of the Movement Phase? But yeah, it's probably the least interesting system I've played with.
Tricky one! I reckon you could use the ones with Flamers as Flameguard Cleansers... Repentia could be Doom Reavers, maybe? Arco Flagellants would be some sort of Cephalyx model. Not sure about the basic Sisters, though; it's a very specific aesthetic!

Not sure about the basic Sisters, though; it's a very specific aesthetic! I've seen people mod Repentia into Doomreavers, I almost did the same thing myself but decided to go in a different direction in the end. I was just looking at the GW website; seems the old metal models are still around, but the prices on them seem to have gone up quite a bit from when I picked up my sisters some ten years ago or more. They are sitting, unassembled, next to my unassembled metal Grey Knights. Someday...

All I hear is Luci from Disenchanted on my shoulder saying "do it do it do it do it"...
And the pitiful whimperings from my wallet.
