Helloooo! Pardons in advance for grammar,/spelling. English is not my native language. If that is acceptable I would love some pointers and tips on my new venture with Skorne. Below is what I have currently, I would love to get some insight into what to bring and preferable and most important, how to play it (my meta has lots of Cygnar, Cephalyx and Ret). I`m leaning towards a mass infantry horde, but I CAN CHANGE! (If it seems like mish mash of stuff it is because it is, I got it for around 110 bucks). Maybe some list suggestions and tactics? Enough blabbering, lets get to it.
Warlocks Makeda 1 Makeda 2 Morghoul 1 Morghoul 3 Herexis 1 Xerxis 1 Zaal 1
Warbeasts Krea x2 Drake Agonizer Savages x4 Brutes Shaman Gladiator x4 Bronzeback Molik Karn
Units Arcuarii Max Cetrati Max Incidiarii Max Swordmen Max with UA 2x Keltarii Max Beast handlers 2x min, 1 Max Blood Runners Tyrant and standard
Solos Blood Runner Megaman Paingiver taskmaster Willbraker Aptimus Marketh ------------------------ Also have: Croaks, gator posse, frog zombies, spirit cauldron, blindwalker, wrastler, snapper, bonedude and a couple of solos.
Long post, if anyone bothers to help me I would be grateful! Thanks!

Disciples of agony would work well with your minion stuff. I assume frog zombies = Gatorman Bokor & bog trog swamp shamblers The Bokor and shamblers + spirit cauldron, blood runners, croaks, and blindwalker is a great start for Morgoul 3 fill with whatever else you want.

That's actually a very good start. I would recommend something similar to what granor said. For the following list pair you would need Morghoul2, Rhadeim, Ferox and an Archidon. I'm not sure they're the absolute best lists, but they're certainly not bad and those purchases are definitely not ones you are going to regret. conflictchamber.com/#c9201b_-0H3Z6Ujcjkjgcv6w6LjXfgjOkc5U5S___-0Z444x5J6vcv7y6yfs676c6d6c6d6hSkorne Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Disciples of Agony (Morghoul 2) Lord Assassin Morghoul [+29] - Archidon [10] - Blackhide Wrastler [16] - Blind Walker [10] - Boneswarm [7] Mortitheurge Willbreaker [0(4)] Paingiver Bloodrunner Master Tormentor [0(4)] Paingiver Task Master [0(3)] Boil Master & Spirit Cauldron [5] Croak Raiders (max) [16] Gatorman Bokor & Bog Trog Swamp Shamblers [10] Gatorman Posse (max) [16] Paingiver Beast Handlers (min) [5] Paingiver Bloodrunners [9] Skorne Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Masters of War (Makeda 2) Supreme Archdomina Makeda [+27] - Basilisk Krea [7] - Molik Karn [19] Extoller Soulward [3] Mortitheurge Willbreaker [4] Orin Midwinter, Rogue Inquisitor [5] Tyrant Rhadeim [9] Legends of Halaak [8] Praetorian Ferox (max) [20] Praetorian Swordsmen (max) [13] - Praetorian Swordsman Officer & Standard [0(4)] Praetorian Swordsmen (max) [13] - Praetorian Swordsman Officer & Standard [0(4)] Tyrant Commander & Standard Bearer [0(6)]

Thanks guys! Yeah I Think an Archidon is pretty high up on the buy list. It here any point of taking gladiators in any of the lists above? Also, any insights on morghoul3 in masters of war? I know Makeda is probably better, but I love the model and the lore behind him.

Morgoul3 likes having an archnode. If you are running him in masters of war you need to build the list to protect him when he goes up to cast blind. He does get much more out of his feat though. Honestly morgoul2 will run the DOA list better but I am hesitant to suggest you buy new casters this early. the archidon does give you sprint in DOA that morgoul2 usually wants.
I didn't like the keltarii myself but I really want to run my guys again if you find a list let us know.

When you first start playing as skorne, you should expect yourself to lose for quite some time. Until you learn how to place your support and get around terrain, our awkward play style (straight in your face while buffing to withstand the flood of return attacks) will make you clumsy. If you find yourself getting tired of the endless grind of games to take care of the learning curve, I'll give you one of our most OP lists. Since you have most of it, this list should cost you around 100 bucks and is beyond competitive.
The Crazy Cat Lady
Theme: Masters of War
Makeda2 -Agonizer -Molik Karn -Titan Sentry (proxy your gladiator for it)
Tyrant Rhadeim Mortitheurge Willbreaker Mortitheurge Willbreaker Praetorian Ferox (max) Praetorian Ferox (max) Tyrant Commander & Standard Bearer Tyrant Commander & Standard Bearer Paingiver Beast Handlers (min)
For this list you'll need 2 units of Ferox ($$), Tyrant Rhadeim, an additional Willbreaker, and an additional Tyrant Commander.
The way the list works is mainly through unstoppable assassinations. Ferox are given tough from the willbreakers and dodge from Rhadeim making them practically unkillable when Makeda2 has 3 or 4 fury on her (if you fail a tough check, pull a fury off Makeda2 and they stand back up). They are speed 8 with 2 inch reach, making their base charging threat a 13. However, If you use the pounce, they are threat 15 and can receive an additional 2 inches from the tyrant commander amping them up to 17 threat and can then receive an additional inch from Makeda2 through the Dash spell, making their end threat 18 inches! PLUS with the pounce, they can actually jump over defensive lines and into the softer back units without taking freestrikes!!! Place Storm Rager on Rhadeim, making him a PS 14 magical armor piercer who essentially never misses (especially under Makeda2's feat) and has 19 armor x.x; under the agonizer's strength debuff, he's essentially a 21 armor against melee. Molik Karn can also 1 round pretty much anything you'll come across, especially when he's been whipped for additional strength by a beast handler.
The only weakness of the Ferox is their MAT 6, which any more than average def unit can pretty easily avoid. However, with Mak2, under feat, they'll be 4 dice on a regular charge attack and 3 dice on a pounce attack, giving you 1 turn where you will more than likely NOT miss. This simple factor is what makes Mak2 a better fit than Mak1 x.x (long debated)

lol, a furry waterfall is always hilarious, but I don't want to just tell him EVERYTHING about the list. I'd prefer that s/he learned how to tweak it's playstyle by themselves.

I'm not going to be able to deliver this with as many emojis or !'s, but for the factual version: Ferox have CMA - As the rules for CMA do not require each model to finish its combat action before completing other CMAs, you can do the following if 2 Ferox jump to within 0.5 of the same target: Ferox A combines its spear attack with Ferox B mount attack (which is boosted thanks to the jump), and Ferox B combines its spear attack with Ferox A mount attack. This gives both mounts a MAT 8 POW 14 boosted attack, which in the right circumstances can be a better choice than 1 boosted 12, 1 non-boosted 12, both at MAT 6. The waterfall refers to being able to do this through the whole unit when needed. A feeds B, who feeds C, who feeds D, who feeds E, who feeds A. Personally, I would 'usually' prefer more rolls and more chances to spike damage, but it's a very useful tool to have in the pocket, especially when you have clock problems I'm still to experiment with it properly, as I've only played a half dozen games with Ferox, over a year ago! There, I got one in of each.

Thanks a bunch! I find that Skorne is a bit different from what I usually play but I do find them tons of fun. I`m gonna buy the cats as soon as I´ve painted up at least one 75pts list. =)
