Just checking out what do you normally drop against skorne and how do you deal with their usual scary models (Siege Animantarax, ferox,...) ? I will go in tournament with a pair Ashlynn/Ossrum so probably I will take Ossrum versus Skorne, though I have no idea how to deal with a double turtle list

I play both Mercs and skorne. As Shoe said, stagger is real against the turtle. Swarming it with a whole lotta men can jam it, but be careful of tramples. It may be a huge base but it's crazy mobile. Don't send a heavy after it, it will mulch it pretty quickly with it's tail. Halbs should do work, or depending on your unit selection with ashlynn, cavalry.
As for the cats, combined ranged attacks always frustrate me. A unit of riflemen splitting off into 5 2 man shots should kill a few a turn.
Always target the archidon. It can't be knocked down and has high native defense, but you have to kill it. It will terrorize your backline and flanks and threaten assassination by itself. Plus it gives them access to Sprint.
Dwarfs are one of the few factions that can do what skorne does and take the alpha on the chin, but they are hordes and will get more attacks on their alpha against you. Make sure you kill whatever heavy they send at you. A gladiator under paingivers can 1 round just about anything.
