I'm interested in combining the Reclaimer Gatekeeper with the Warder. We can get Harby up to an effective DEF 20 in melee and she already can't be knocked down.

Hmm, I wonder how it will end. SO far it's rather surprising, maybe it's the particular meta the designers have the most contact with (and the specific problems of its players). Some thing which are good or balanced received buffs - Harby is one of our top casters, extremely powerful already and our PoM players have had a lot of success using Errants as they are now, also internationally (WTC and all).
On the other hand stuff which is visibly sub par receives very little or no help at all - Bastions, Vengers (!) ...

Hand of Silence is pretty massive for Testament of Menoth, lets him get souls from things that usually deny them (e-leaps, continuous effects)

Protectorate Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Exemplar Interdiction
!!! Your army contains a CID entry.
(High Reclaimer 2) Testament of Menoth [+27] - Crusader [10] - Devout [9] - Vigilant [9] Exemplar Errant Seneschal [4] Exemplar Warder Elias Gade [0(5)] Hand of Silence [7] Knights Exemplar Seneschal [0(5)] Wrack [1] Wrack [1] Choir of Menoth (min) [4] Exemplar Errants (max) [16] - Exemplar Errant Officer & Standard [4] Knights Exemplar [9] - Knights Exemplar Officer [0(5)] Knights Exemplar [9] - Knights Exemplar Officer [5] Knights Exemplar [9] - Knights Exemplar Officer [5]

"Here's your point reduction, now go away" the CID. Granted point reductions are good, but they don't fix the underlying exemplar problem which is "unless opponent punches me in a particular way all my infantry stuff is understatted and undersupported". Also "please buy new stuff to make old stuff work", but that's a common theme with cid at this point. It's the first day dude, there is absolute no reason to assume that all they'll get is a point reduction. Go play them, put in battle reports, and explain why you feel they're still not good enough and PP has shown to be more than open to making further changes. This is how every CID works.

I'm super excited! I wanted to play a list like this back in MKII, but I didn't get a chance. Now I can and it looks really good. I have wanted to play a list like this outside of Khador and my dreams have come true, with some support I never imagined would make it in! conflictchamber.com/#c2201b_-0EeUl_l_lUl-l-k93z3BlXlXlZlSlZlSProtectorate Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Exemplar Interdiction !!! Your army contains CID entries. (Durst 1) Anson Durst, Rock of the Faith [+28] - Indictor [14] - Indictor [14] - Exemplar Warder [0(5)] Exemplar Bastion Seneschal [5] Exemplar Bastion Seneschal [5] Exemplar Warder Elias Gade [5] Vassal of Menoth [3] Wrack [1] Exemplar Bastions (max) [13] Exemplar Bastions (max) [13] Exemplar Cinerators (max) [15] - Exemplar Cinerator Officer [0(6)] Exemplar Cinerators (max) [15] - Exemplar Cinerator Officer [0(6)] The only part I could change to make it more entertaining is I could swap out both Indictors for 4 Dervishes. The part I am bummed about is I would love to have a Vessel of Judgement or two, but I think I can live without them for the time being. I might have to explore this list with Tristan2 to really be annoying and have my Vessels too. EDIT: How did I forget Choir? Not sure I need them, but help me out if you think I do.

Here's an idea for Tristan2: conflictchamber.com/#c2201b_-0EgAlVk9lX2slS2slSi8Protectorate Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Exemplar Interdiction !!! Your army contains CID entries. (Durant 2) Sovereign Tristan Durant [+28] - Judicator [35] Exemplar Warder Elias Gade [5] Exemplar Bastions (max) [13] Exemplar Cinerators (max) [16] - Exemplar Cinerator Officer [0(6)] Exemplar Cinerators (max) [16] - Exemplar Cinerator Officer [0(6)] Vessel of Judgment [18] Feel free to try out these lists I'm posting. I won't get a chance until Monday to get some games in. EDIT: Wow, how did I not include Choir? Help me out here! Although I'm not sure I *need* them.

Either pray to Menoth or feel his fury. You'll burn either way.

Choco, my rule is 2 jacks or less? No choir, 3 or more? Choir. It also depends what you are trying to do with said list.

Well, the Durst list is purely for the spectacle of seeing a sea of medium bases on the table, and it probably makes a good drop into gun lines. So the Choir isn't super important, but the safety from guns might be warranted. As for the Durant list, it's supposed to be a jamming/attrition list from hell. Again, Choir doesn't seem needed.

Cinerators will die before you heal them (at least if your opponent plays smart). Don't get your hopes up too high to get much mileage out of the healing

Sorry, but I'm a little bored at work and as a result, I'm list building. How does this look as a way to be annoying with the Shrine? conflictchamber.com/#c2201b_-0c0-eV3Uf72M2M2P3R2K2LlQlQProtectorate Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Guardians of the Temple !!! Your army contains CID entries. (Feora 1) Feora, Priestess of the Flame [+31] - Hand of Judgment [18] - Sanctifier [14] Pyrrhus, Flameguard Hero [0(5)] Daughters of the Flame [10] Daughters of the Flame [10] Flameguard Cleansers (max) [15] - Flameguard Cleanser Officer [0(4)] Temple Flameguard (max) [11] - Temple Flameguard Officer & Standard [0(4)] Shrine of the Lawgiver [14] Shrine of the Lawgiver [14] This would be my infantry drop in a pairing. Not sure what I would pair this with, but it looks interesting to say the least. EDIT: I think I'm going to start a new thread for list building...

Am I the only one here that when I am building lists, I want to include Elias in every list now, even if I don't have Errants? Desperate Pace is so good on the medium units that I feel I can't live without it.

Desperate Pace is so good on the medium units that I feel I can't live without it. I mean he's already a strong shooting piece into infantry, he can score scenario, and he buffs Exemplars. I think it's obvious enough that it doesn't really need to be said. Unless you have another, specific gameplan of course.
